~Katie~

The second day was not too bad. Algebra , I had a pop quiz and in English we had to read a novel and it was a pretty good book so far. At lunch, I hung out with Stacey and Erika and I didn't see any of those bitches.

"So you are going to spend the night tonight right?" Stacey asked.

"Do I have a choice?" I asked with with a mouthful of food.

"Nope!" They both teased together. I rolled my eyes at them in a friendly way.

"By the way what ever happened to the popular crew?"

"Probably just one of their ditch days." Stacey remarked.

"They get their own ditch days?" I asked drastically.

"Yeah. They leave campus for a day and when they come back, one speaks about it not even the teachers." Erika implied.

"So they pretty much get away with anything and everything." I stated.

"Hey. when they said they run the school, they aren't really kidding." Stacey responded seriously.

"I didn't have that much control over the school when I was in their shoes." I stated sadly.

"What did you have control of?" Stacey asked.

"The whole student body, but I didn't run it alone. my boyfriend and I were untouchable and that's how it should've been until the end but I ended up here and everything dissipated." I tried to hold back the tears and the anger that had risen up inside me. They both stared at me in empathy.

"You miss him huh? Your boyfriend." Erika asked. I felt a tear mark down my cheek.

"Very much." I answered.

"This must be hell for you." Erika blurted. I looked at her with a curious glare. "You have to leave your old life behind to come here, get in two chick fights then having to be bullied by the hottest boy in school. Life for you must be hell right now." I was speechleass; here I thought that I that I would be the only one who understood what I was going through.

"But one thing good came out of this hell. I got to meet you two." I stated. their smiles on their faces were priceless, as though they've never heard that before.

"Don't get all mushy gushy on us now. I cant take it!" Stacey joked.

"Shit, Stacey we have to go. We hate to leave on a time like this, but we have to go to choir practice. Are you still planning on waiting for us?" Erika asked.

"Yeah I am besides you two have come over and help me pack for the night." I reassured them. They both agreed, gave me a hug, and left. Those two are something else and It shocked me how I could ever become friends with them. They were so different from Chrissy and Karina, then again I'm no different than Stacey and Erika, well Erika at least because she was once popular too. I don't know much about Stacey.

I shrugged off my thoughts and headed for the court yard bench. as I sat down a new thought occurred to me, Tony was probably dating Chrissy now and Karina's probably just going with the flow. "Maybe I should visit them."

"Visit who?" A voice echoed behind me. I didn't have to turn around to know that Rico was the cause of said voice. When I didn't answer him, he took the seat next to me.
