I woke up the next morning to find both of them had gone off to school. Beside me on the nightstand sat a piece of paper with a note written for me to read.

Hey Girl,

We left an outfit out for you on the chair, but don't wear it until the party tonight!

Love Chu,

Stacey

I had to admit, Stacey's handwriting was big and pretty. I folded the note and placed it in my dresser drawer. That was when I noticed the attire they had lain out for me and I couldn't help but study it with a tilted head. They had chosen my grey tank and my light blue jean miniskirt with my netted over shirt I never wear to complete the look. Huh, never thought about this combination before. Cute.

"Hey honey, I just got back from taking your friends to school and they wanted me to tell you they'll get your homework for you." My mom stated. Nodding in response, my mom quickly changed the topic. "So, are you going to that party your father was telling me about?"

"I don't know."

"Well, for what it's worth I think you should go too." She said sympathetically.

"I don't know, maybe." I repeated.

Then she threw me off guard with her next question. "Is it a boy?"

I instantly thought of Rico. "No!" I said too quickly and she gave me a knowing look, like somehow my no turned into a yes. Kind of like when men hear the word no at a club. "Look, there's no guy, alright! I'm still not over Tony."

Her facial expression relaxed, "why don't you call him?"

I never thought about that in awhile, probably because I didn't want to hear Chrissy's moaning in the background. I pushed that tormenting thought in the back of my mind and gave her my best grin. "Maybe I will, I've just been busy, Mom."

She chuckled at me and jabbed my chest in a playful poke, "well, be unbusy and go to that party."

"So, now you're forcing me out?" I asked in disbelief and irritation.

"I mean you could stay, but your father and I were going to have a romance night tonight and then planning on having rough, hard, raw sex."

"I cant wait for that party tonight!" I quickly dashed away grabbing my keys and left, having the most disturbing thought of my parents fucking like teenagers; not a good visual to have. I walked down to the school to pick up my car and as soon as I get there, I see my Toyota covered in toilet paper and 'Chiligirl' written on all my windows. God, I hope that comes off.  I thought as I got into my mess and drove, thankfully, two blocks down the street and up the driveway. I rushed inside to get the bucket and scrubber and started to wash my car off.

I saw my mom come out and her face turn pale from the corner of my eye. "What the hell happened to your car?"

"It's just high school, Mom, don't worry about it." I said with a sigh.

"How could they do that to your poor car?" She asked, sounding like the world was coming to an end.

I stopped and made eye contact with her. "Mom, don't worry about it. I'll clean it up and it will be like it never happened. Now, go inside and finish watching your Soap Oprah."

She was going to say something, but closed her mouth and after a brief hesitation she walked back inside allowing me to finish up before the sun went down. Two hours of scrubbing and my car looks brand new. I knew it needed a bath way before this incident but been putting it off, but now I had a reason to clean it.
