Chapter 7

When I walked home the smile on my face was still there. My mum asked me why I was so happy, i shrugged and said "I had a great time at Lara's today, that's all." And with that I ran into my room. A second or so later there was a knock on the door. My mum answered it first and i heard a muffled conversation before she called up to me saying it was for me. I must of left something at Lara's so I walked down the stairs.

It wasn't Lara, it was Robin. he stood there with an apologetic smile on his face.

"I need to talk to you." he said. how did he get my address?

I rolled my eyes and invited him in, we walked into my room.

"What? are you going to leave me again?" I asked angrily. He rubbed the back of his neck.

"Look, I shouldn't of done that to you and I'm really sorry. Will you forgive me?" he asked. i looked at him for a while. Why should i forgive him after he left me twice. And the worst part is he kissed me and ran! part of me wanted to forgive him but the other didn't.

I shook my head and sat on my bed.

"You do know I like you, don't you?" I asked while my face was resting on my fist.

"Yes, and the best part is, I like you too. But i don't know if i can be with you without hurting you." He said, his words were sad and sincere.

"What do you mean? You always leave me confused, like when you said you were a bad guy. I don't understand." I said confused.He sighed and that angered me slightly more.

"I can't tell you..." He said trailing off, a look of hurt covered his face.

"Why, why not?" I pushed. I stood up and walked towards him, he took one step back.

"Because." He said, not finishing his sentence.

"Because what!?" I asked. I would not be lied to or be kept secrets from. I deserved to know.

"Will you come with me, to the forest. I'll tell you then." He said quietly. I looked him up and down and then landed on his face to see if he was planning something bad. When i saw his blank expression I nodded slowly.

He took my hand and led me downstairs and out the door.

"I'll be back soon!" I called to my mum before I shut the door behind us.

It was a short trek to the forest, by then I was a little worried. Why would he take me here? We stopped in a small clearing. he looked at me before saying:

"What I tell you know is something you cannot tell anyone else. Do you understand?" He asked, seriousness filled his face. I nodded my head.
