Chapter 13

I got back home at 9:00. My mum had bought my favourite cake for desert seen as I didn't have any at Robin's. I was grateful his family accepted me. I can't believe I was so nervous!

The thing with Alex though... I don't know how to act around him anymore. He obviously likes me but I'm with Robin. He's my mate and I will not let him down, no matter how similar Alex is too him.

I shook that thought away from my head. Who cares about Alex... I don't. I went straight to bed after my cake. I was so tired. Just as I closed my eyes Robin was with me. I smiled.

"Night." He whispered.

"Night." I whispered back and fell asleep.

I woke up to a loud ringing. I looked over to my phone, It wasn't the alarm. Lara was calling? I picked up the phone.

"Hel-"

"Kacy! where are you!" She yelled at me, making my ears ring.

"I'm in my bedroom. Why? What's wrong?" I asked worriedly.

"Marcus just asked me out!" She squeeled. Marcus is a really popular boy from school. He gets all the girls then dumps them when he's tired with them. I sighed, why Lara? why?

"Hello?" she asked.

"W-well, ummm, congratz Lara." I said., there was a silence.

"What's wrong?" She asked confused. I turned round to see Robin still in my room he raised his eyebrow. I smiled reasuringly at him.

"You and... Marcus? Seriously? I mean, he's cute but... you know what he does to girls." I said, trying to break it to her gently.

She sighed.

"You know, I thought you'd actually be happy for me, but no." She said and hung up.

"What was that about?" Robin asked making me jump.

I sighed

"Nothing, just that Lara is going out with the worst person ever." I said. what if Marcus breaks up with Lara? I still hadn't told her about me and Robin.

I need to send her a text. I thought.

i opened my phone up again and sent a text.

'I'm really happy 4 u. sorry I was stupid. I need to tel u summin 1st.' I sent.

"I need to get ready for school. I'll meet you in a second." I said to Robin. He nodded and jumped back out the window.

I was a few minutes early to be getting ready but now i'm awake I might as well make a start.

I brushed my teeth and got dressed, made my lunch and watched T.V for a bit. After about half an hour i left for Lara's.

My phone buzzed.

' Wat is it? Be qwik i need to go. Tel me at scl.' Said the text from Lara.

I rolled my eyes, she is so impatient.

I knocked on her door and waited. Within seconds she answered.

"What? What's the news?!" She asked pulling me toward the road to school.

"OK. You can't tell anyone before i can. OK?" I asked. She was so impatient.

"Yeah, whatever. TELL ME WOMAN!" She said shaking me.

"Me and Robin are-" she squeeled befofe i could finish.

"OMG!!! Congratz!!!" She screemed. I laughed. Typical Lara.
