Chapter 4

When I went home with Lara today I was still a bit disapointed Robin left me. I told Lara everything and she says it was probably just nerves. 

Me and Lara are going swimming later so i'm going to get my bikini. 

"Hey!" I shouted when I got into the house. No one replied as usual, mum was still at work and Kailey is too 'cool'  to reply.

I dumped my bags in the cupboard and threw my shoes to one side. I ran up the stairs taking them two at a time and went straight to my bed room. As usual it was a mess. I stepped over piles of clothes to get to my wardrobe. More clothes were in the way of the wardrobe doors, so I just kicked them away, revealing my purple carpet. The inside of my wardrobe was a bit messed up too. clothes were sharing hangers, some were even falling off.

I need to tidy this place up! I thought.

I reached out and grabbed a bag from the top of my wardrobe. It was a blue see through bag with green straps. i took my bikini off of the hanger and threw it on my bed to put on later. It was green with thrilly bits around the top.

I got out a thin jumper and some skinny jeans to put on over my bikini. I undressed and put my swim wear and my clothes on. I tied my hair up into a neat pony tail. 

The door bell rang. I went down the stairs quickly and opened the door. It was Lara. 

"One sec." I said and rushed to the bathroom to get my wash bag and a towel and put them in my bag. I grabbed my keys and locked the door on my way out. 

"Lets go!" I said enthusiastically. We nearly skipped to the swimming pool, we go there every Friday. 

As we entered the building, the strong scent of chlorine hit my nose, I loved the smell!

The lady at the desk had a monotone, she spooked me out. She never smiled and her voice could kill you!

We got to the desk and i plastered on a smile. She never returned them, i sighed.

"How can i help?" She said in her monotoned voice.

"We just want to swim." Lara answered.

"That's £3.00 please." She said. I really wanted to punch her, she was so... annoying!

I handed her the money and made our way to the changing rooms, the smell of chlorine was stronger now we were closer to the pool. I took my jumper and jeans off and shoved them in the locker. i dropped a pound coin into the slot, and locked the door. Strapping the key onto my wrist. 

We walked to the side of the pool and slipped in, the water was freezing, though we quickly got used to it. And there in the top corner of the deep end, was Robin. I nudged Lara hoping she will notice. She gasped and wiggled her eyebrows at me.

oh no! lara don't!

Too late. She was doing front crawl towards him.
