Chapter 11

Robins house was big, I mean huge. It wasn't as big as a mansion but it was much bigger than my crappy house.

"Are you sure you're ready?" Robin asked me anxiously.

"Yes, for the hundredth time yes!" I exclaimed. He smiled at me lovingly. He took out a shining silver key from his back pocket. He unlocked the door and said hello to his family. I wasn't surprised he didn't shout because werewolves have amazing hearing.

"You must be Kacy. We've all been dying to meet you." An older woman probably in her thirties with beautiful blonde hair came down the stairs smiling happily.

"I'm Laura, Robins mum." She said. I smiled at her politely.

"Nice to meet you." I said holding my hand out. She hugged me instead. I hugged her back and she pulled away smiling.

A man walked down the stairs. He had a big build and had short brown hair like Robin. He was more formal than Laura.

"Hello Kacy, I'm Ronald, Robins father. Nice to meet you." He held his hand out and i shook it.

"Pleasure to meet you Ronald." I said. There was a short silence before a boy came tumbling down the stairs. He looked almost exactly like Robin but a bit shorter.

"Hey." He said. He looked just as nervous as I was. I looked at Robin, he was glaring at him. I nudged him in the stomach and he looked at me.

"That's my twin brother Alex." He said, I looked over at him.

"Hi, i'm Kacy." I said extending my hand out to him. He grabbed it and shook slowly. I smiled at him.

"So, will you be having dinner with us?" Laura asked cheerily. Alex ran upstairs without another word.

"Well, I'd love too if it's OK with you." I said politely, remembering the manners my mum had been teaching me my whole life.

"Sure! We'd love you to stay." She said happily.

"Me and Kacy are going to my room. You go up ahead I'll be with you in a second. My room is next to Alex's." Robin said. I nodded and made my way up the spiraling stair case.

I could tell which was Alex's room because it had his name in bold wooden letters stuck on the door. Curiosity got the better of me and I knocked on the door quietly.

"Come in Kacy." Alex said. I opened the door to see him sitting on his bed looking at a book.

"Hey." I said, he didn't look at me.

"Take a seat." He said, still not removing his eyes away from his book. I sat on a blue bean bag he had in the corner of his room facing a small HD T.V.

He finally put his book down.

"So, how can I help?" he asked imitating a receptionist. i laughed.

"I was just a bit curious, that's all." I said looking around his room. It had bubblegum blue walls and a red floor.

He nodded.

"You like?" He said gesturing to his room. I smiled and nodded.

"It's... great." I said. he laughed. I looked into his eyes, they were just like Robin's. They grew bigger and smaller.

The door burst open and Robin was standing there with a murderously angry face. I looked at him worriedly. His face softened when he looked at me.

"This isn't my room." He said jokingly. i nodded and jumped up from the bean bag.

"Sorry, I just wanted to see Alex's room." I said innocently.

I looked in Alex's direction, his face was angry. I was confused, what was the big deal?

Robin lead me into his room. His walls and floor were the opposite. Dark red walls and blue floor. He had a queen size double bed on one side of the room. a HD T.V  was on the opposite side. We sat on the bed for a silent minute or so.

"What's the big deal between you and Alex?" I asked curiously.

"I don't know. He looks a lot like me and could take you away from me, plus he's another male so I need to be protective. I don't know why, it's the way mother nature created us." He answered.
