Chapter 10
Kailey came stomping down the stairs.
"You're in my seat!" She boomed. I sighed.
"It's not your seat kailey!" I yelled.
She crossed her arms "yes. It. Is." She said and attempted to throw me off.
"If you weren't so fat i would be able to move you!" She moaned. i laughed to myself.
The door bell rang so I jumped up from the sofa, sending Kailey plumeting to the ground. I laughed again before opening the door. It was Robin.
"Hey, do you want to go town with me?" He asked. I smiled at him. Of course I would!
"Um, yeah sure, let me just grab my bag." I said, turning away from the door and quickly running up the stairs and into my room.
I heard in the dstance Kailey running to the door. there was a short silence. I could instantly tell what she was thinking which made me proud Robin was mine. I only just heard Robin awkwardly say "Hi."
"Hey there good looking." she flirted badly.
I rolled my eyes.
I ran back down the stairs after I grabbed my bag from my desk.
"Let's go." I said dragging him away from my dumb sister.
"Thanks." He said, I laughed before jumping into the car.
We drove for 10 minutes before arriving at the town parking lot. Robin got out first and before I could he opened my door.
"Thank you." I said gratefully. He smiled at me warmly and pecked me on the lips. Butterflies formed in my belly.
We made our way to the small park near one of the shops. It was empty so we had it all to ourselves.
We sat on the swings and rocked ourselves gently without talking.
″So...″ Robin said, attempting to break the ice.
"I thought, because you are only human, we could take things slow. It was stupid of me to get ahead of myself about the ceremony. We'll do it when you are ready." He said. I smiled thankfully at him.
"I thought you could meet my family today." He said looking at his shoes.
Meet his parents!? What would I do? How would I act around a group of wolves?
Robin looked at me hesitantly.
"You don't have to if you don't want to." he said quickly.
"I-i'd love to meet your parents. It's just i don't know how to act." I said truthfully.
He looked at me pityingly
"You just need to be yourself, we're not going to eat you." He laughed. I laughed too, that made me feel much better.
