Alexa'sP. O. V
The following day, Ash was sent back home to his family to grieve. But I gave Ash one secret message. That this uprising will end in his honor. I didn't tell another soul of what I promised him, as if I did, it wouldn't end well for me.
I had my suspicions that one of the pack was a traitor, but I didn't have a clue of who it was. But I knew. I had to find them and kill them myself. How else will the attackers know when an area wasn't being watched? Dylan and Cash watched from noon to midnight the east and south. Mason was with us, but they had Nathan on the west and north end. Whoever this is, they know our patrol system better than some. So as the now Alpha Female, I called the Wolves to a meeting. And there they sat, all of them with wounds somewhere or someplace on them. "We have to change schedules. Someone knew how this works." I say and Dylan looks down. "I fucked up." He mutters. "No you didn't. Someone in our pack is tipping the attackers." I respond. "But that howl, wasn't earthly." I hear someone say and I look up. Dallas stood at the back of the room. "The howl that called back those wolves, was loud enough to call them from the south. It came from way north. Tyler said I'm crazy when I told him what I thought it was." He says and I look at him. "What is your theory?" I ask. "It's Fenrir." He says lowly. "As in, the Norse Monster Wolf?" I ask, remembering what Joshua told me months ago. "Y-yeah. He's here." Dallas nods. I look at the Wolves. "Then I guess we figure out who has connections to the Monster Wolf." I say. "You." A voice speaks out, making me turn. There stood Joshua Drago, leaning against the doorframe. Everyone turns their heads look at me. "Her father is the direct descendant to the Monster, making her also a descendant as is her brother." He snarls. Dallas backs away. "But you see Joshua, we get our tattoo once we are loyal to him. I don't have mine." I snap. "But Kane does." He says. "It's not Kane. He was with us." Dallas says, and I nod. "I believe it's one of you two. Only a descendant can summon him." Joshua growls and steps out. I follow him. "Don't you ever accuse me of attacking my pack!" I scream and he whirls around, his golden eyes darkening. "And don't youever raise your voice at me!" He says, his voice raising with every word. "Alexa, who's this?" Tyler growls, his arm going around me. "I'm her uncle, and what are you?" Joshua spats at Tyler. Tyler chuckles, a smile barely tugs his lips. "I'm the one who's protecting her from people like you." Tyler growls before he swings, knocking Joshua down. A groan comes from Joshua and he stills. I quickly unbutton his shirt. "What are you doing?" Tyler asks. "Showing that Kane isn't the one that summoned Fenrir." I say and Tyler scoffs. "You believe that crap too?" He asks and I look up at him. "The Sinclairs are his descendants." I say and he stills, his face serious. "How?" He asks. "We were the first ones on earth. The first shifters as well. But the very first one was Fenrir. But the Old Gods had the first family, the Sinclairs, kill him." I say. "At the Old Pine. That tree you go to." Tyler says. "I don't choose to go. It's like it calls me." I reply. "Legend says it only calls those with power. Lots of power." He says and I point at Joshua's chest. There was the tattoo of the Monster Wolf.

Tyler's eyes widen. "I never got mine. Joshua is my mother's brother, he shouldn't have this." I say and Tyler shakes his head. "But Fenrir was killed by your family." He says. "Yes, but he can not truly be killed by earthly beings. Only another God can kill him." I answer. "Odin's wolves?" He suggests. "In mythology, he is killed by Odin's son." I say, and he nods. "I'll kill him myself." I say and Tyler looks at me in anger. "No you are not! I can't, won't, let you get hurt." He growls. I look at him, "You can't stop me." "Not me, but someone else can." He responds, his hand resting over my stomach. I look down at his hand, "But I have to kill the King." I say and he shakes his head at me. "Only you're this crazy." He murmurs. My head snaps up when I hear someone approaching. "It's just Jaxon." I say and he grins. "Hello Alpha Tyler, Alpha Alexa." He says and dips his head for Tyler. "Jaxon's the only lion shifter among the pack. His mother was a wolf shifter, his father a lion shifter." I explain and Jaxon bobs his head. "Only difference is my father was a rare red coat. I'm as gold as the sun." He says and I nod, knowing Elijah Castamere (Yes I'm using some Game of Thrones names, but it goes with Jaxon's past) was a very rare shifter. "But Jaxon himself is already rare out here. You don't find lions out of Africa." I say and Tyler eyes him. Jaxon avoids eye contact with Tyler and I look between them. "Well I should be going. Nice chatting with you, Alphas." He says, dips his head, and leaves.

She didn't really know what happened to Elijah. Not even the last Alphas knew what happened to their closest ally, just that he was murdered. Once they find out what I did, god so help me.
