Dinner Night

HALEY'S P.O.V

CHAPTER:8

   I wake up my alarm like every day. I get up this time more tired couldn't fall asleep kept thinking about last night. I put my leggings on and a t shirt then brush my teeth and eat. I go to Nathan's door will this be weird I knock he opens it. "Hey" he says "hi" I say awkwardly oh god.

       We walk into our last room and clean we didn't talk much and the. Mr carls told us to meet him at his office. We finish the room and go over to his office. "You needed us" I say "yes I need you guys to do some outside work like mow the lawn and other things" he says "but I thought it was only the rooms" Nathan complains. "Yes I know but I told you you have to" he said before Nathan says something I say "ok" "good you can start outside tomorrow" he says we go. "That's unfair" Nathan complains "ya but we will get kicked out if we complain" I say "ya" he says "um can..." He doesn't finish some one interrupts "tutor girl let's go to the beach" I hear Brooke dammit "hey boy toy" she says to Nathan "I take it that's a nickname but hi Brooke" he say "let's go" she says pulling me"we can talk later" I say to Nathan.

    We get to the beach "so what were you and boy toy talking about" she asks "he was gonna talk to me but you came" I say "ooh sorry tutor girl" she says. "That's fine" I say "I'm gonna go into the water" I say and go. I dive in right now I don't care if an animal kills me because I'm scared to death of what Nathan will say. I pop my head back up. I see Lucas by Brooke I get out of the water. I walk over there. "Hey Haley can I talk to you" Lucas asks. "Ya" I say we walk over to a private place. "I wanted to say sorry I overreacted it's not like anythings going on with you two" he says "ya but finally" I say hugging him. We walk back to Brooke "you guys finally makeup" she says "ya" I laugh.

NATHAN'S P.O.V

    Dammit I wanted to tell Haley how I felt Brooke had to ruin it. "Dude let's go to the beach" Tim says "no I'm fine you go" I say "ok see ya later dawg" Tim says an leaves.

    I play some NBA live I have to tell Haley some how.

HALEY'S P.O.V

    I get home Brooke and Lucas stayed longer. I wonder what Nathan was going to say to me. I'm gonna go get some food there was a cafe 2 blocks I can just walk there I leave them a note. I walk down the stairs I look down for a second and bump into some one. "Sorry" I hear Nathan I look up "Haley" he says "hey" I say "where you going" he asks "to get some food do you want to come" I ask "ya um sure let me get my keys" He said I wait here for him.

   We get to the cafe "so um you need..." The waiter interrupts me "what can I get for you guys. "I'll get the vanilla milkshake and fries"
I say "I'll have the same" he says "so um you needed to talk" I ask. "Ya can we do that some where else later we can talk about it" he says oh god. "Ok well why is mr carls making us clean the outside that's unfair" I say "ya this is shit it's so unfair" he says angrily. "Wow I see that you're angry" I laugh I'm surprised that this is not awkward he laughs. The waiter comes back with our food.

   We finish our food and go back. "So Haley would you mind if I took you to dinner" he asks what "you sure" I say. "Good I wasn't gonna take no for an answer" he laughs "thanks for lunch" I say "see you tonight what time" I ask "7:30" he says I go into our condo. "Tutor girl where did you go" Brooke asks "for lunch am my room now" I say she gets up and we go into my room.

   "So what's up" she asks "well first Nathan asked to take me to dinner is that a date" I ask. "Yes I'm pretty sure it is" she squeals. "Ok you have to help me I have 3 hours" I say she gets up and we look through clothes. "This" she says pulling out a nice foley summer black dress. "Keep your hair down" she says "ill do your make up" she says.

   "Are we done my make up" I ask "yes" she said I look at myself  it's not to fancy that's good. I hear a knock at the door. Brooke goes to open it. I walk our Nathan's wearing a blue button down shirt and jeans. "Hey" I say awkwardly "hi" he replies I'm at the door Lucas is taking a shower. "You look great" he says "thanks" I say we get into his car and go.

    We walk into a nice restaurant and sit down outside. "This place is nice" I say "ya" he says. "What can I get for you guys" the girl waiter asks. "I'll have a steak" Nathan says "I'll have the Mac n cheese" I say Nathan smiles. We just get waters and she leaves. "Why are you smiling" I ask "Mac n cheese" he laughs "what Mac n cheese is the food of gods" I say. "No it isn't" he says "yes it is" I laugh.

    We get our food "so you think steak is better than Mac n cheese" I say "yes" he laughs "you better be kidding" u laugh. "No it's better" he says "whatever you say" I say taking a bite of my food.

      We finish our food and we go "well thanks for dinner" I say we get to the condos "well hales I wanted to tell you..." Some one interrupts him "bro I need to talk to you" Tim says "tutor girl come here" I hear Brooke. "Can we talk later thanks for everything" I say he nods I go to Brooke. "Brooke Nathan needed to talk to me" I say to Brooke "sorry" she says "tell me everything" she said.

     I told Brooke everything and now I can't sleep I want to know what Nathan needed to say.
