CHAPTER 1: JUST THE BEGINNING   HALEY'S P.O.V

       I'm Haley James I have a best friend with a half brother that is a total dick. Lucas... Lucas Scott is my best friend and his brother is Nathan Scott the captain of the basketball and practically the king of Tree Hill High. There dad is Dan Scott another total dick he abandon Lucas's mom when she was pregnant with him. and Nathan has hated Lucas since he found out he even had a brother and he hated him more when he joined the basketball team. I will admit Nathan is better than Lucas at basketball but he's done some pretty bad things to Luc there literally pure enemies they loath each other. Its not hate its loath entirely. well that's my life its filled with hateful half brothers but I learned to deal with it. "Haley you coming tonight to the party at Rachels house" Luc asks me "I hate her you know that" I say as I lay on his bed. "please come with me I need you there" he begs "nah I think I'm good" I say "Haley come on lets have some fun for once" he says "you do know Nathan will be there" I say looking at him curiously "yeah" he replies quickly. "why do you want to go then" I ask "he's not gonna ruin everything for me" he says "well I don't care" I say "I don't want to go" I say again. "please you don't have to talk to anyone" he says. "...fine I'll go" I say he smiles "thanks you're the best" he says.

          The party is crammed with people everyone yelling music blasting. "why did I do this" I ask Lucas "cause you love me" he says. "actually I hate you right now" I say I spot Nathan he does have nice eyes and his smile lights the room... NO Haley get it together hes your best friends half brother who is a total dick. "Hey tutor girl boyfriend" Brooke says "hey Brooke" I say she had never ever said my real name Haley only tutor girl. "I'm surprised you guys came since you know Nathan and its Rachel" Brooke says "he forced me" I say. "Hey Lucas...Haley" Rachel says and gives me a forced smile. She's obsessed with Luc its annoying. "Back off bitch" Brooke says "calm down Broke Davis I'm just saying hi" she says "ok Rach-hoe" Brooke replies then Rachel just walks off. "Brooke she was just saying hi" Lucas says oh no 1...2...3 "excuse me have fun being alone for the rest of tonight the whole night" she says and walks off "Brooke come on" he says walking to her. nice now im alone in this house. I look around to catch Nathans eyes on me I quickly turn away. "Hey want a drink im Tim" Tim Nathans best friend asks "leave me alone" I say "come on baby" he says "Tim back off" I turn to see Nathan. "ok just asking if she wanted a drink" he walks away "sorry about that he's drunk" he says "thanks" I say. I start to walk "wait its Haley right" he asks "yup" I reply "you know im friends with Lucas" I say "yeah so" he says "you're like a total dick to him" I say he laughs. "why are you laughing" I ask "cause its funny" he says "what that you're a total dick to him" I ask "mainly you calling some one a dick" he says "whats that supposed to mean" I ask. "you're like Haley James nice tutor girl" he says. "well I...I don't care what you think" I say and turn around "wait im sorry its just funny" he says with a smile that can make anyone melt. "I shouldn't be talking to you" I say "why is Lucas the boss of you" he says "no its just hes my best friend" I say "ok fine but he should deal with it" he says I turn my head and see Lucas looking at us and glaring. "I got to go" I say. "Luc look he just Tim was flirting with me and he told him to stop" I say "it wasn't look like Tim was the one flirting with you" he says "he was he just well I tried to walk away and then he kind of started talking to me" I tell him "you could of walked away" he says "I tried several times but he kept on talking you cant be mad I told him to stop and I don't have to explain myself to you...you don't have to believe me" I say. "fine I believe you" he says I smile "can we go" I ask "fine let me tell brooke we're going" he says I turn to see Nathan looking at me with a smile whats with him. Lucas comes back we go "what did brooke say" I ask "she asked why and got all whiny" he tells me I laugh "what did Nathan say" he asks "I was waiting for that he said I couldn't call some one a dick cause im a good" I pout "haha it does sound funny" he says. "you two are totally brothers" I say "sorry what else and why did you say dick" he asks "i called him a dick" I say he laughs even harder "and I tried to walk away and I told him you would get mad and he said you should deal with it that's all" I tell him.
