HALEY'S P.O.V

CHAPTER: 23

"Nathan" I yell as he lays on the street road he just got hit by a car. "Call 911 brooke" I say she dials it and talks. "They said they'll be here in a couple minutes. Minutes later an ambulance comes I go in the ambulance with him. We get to the hospital and they take him. "Hi what's your relationship with Nathan" a nurse asks "I'm his wife" I say and cry. "Ok I need you to tell me his full name siblings an parents names and I need color of eyes and hair on him" she says. "Ok his full name is Nathan Royal Scott he has a half brother named Lucas Eugene Scott his mom is Deb Scott and dad is Dan Scott his hair color is raven black he has icy blue eyes" I say. Brooke walks in. "Ok and where he was born and his age am his birthdate" he says. "Ok he was born in tree hill North Carolina his age is 17 July 20 1986" I say "your name and age" she asks. "My name is Haley James Scott and I'm 16 born august 16 1986" I tell her "he's in immediate surgery" she says and walks away. "Brooke what if something happens" I ask "nothing will haley everything will be fine he will be fine" she hugs me we sit waiting there.

It's been 2 hours the nurse walks up to us "ok he's in recovery right now and in a coma so you'll be able to go in a couple of minutes" she says. We wait minutes later "only family can come in" she says I get up and follow her to the room. I walk in he's in a coma more tears fall down. I sit next to him am hold his hand. "Nathan I'm so sorry this is all my fault and I'm sorry about the Rachel thing I shouldn't have gotten mad there was no reason just wake up please" I sob tears falling down profusely. I feel my hand being squeezed I look up Nathan's awake. "Water please" he says with a scratchy voice I get him the water. "Hales it's fine I was to mad" he says still raspy. "No I shouldn't have gotten mad I know you didn't do anything" I say.

NATHAN'S P.O.V

The nurse walks in. "Ok Nathan well you have a broken arm and fractured bone in your knee" she says that's when everything falls apart. "Fractured bone in my knee is that bad" I ask. "Well it can be pretty bad" she says "what about basketball would I still be able to play" I ask. "Well if it heals properly you could if it doesn't then it could be the end of it" she says. "You'll be able to leave tomorrow" she says then leaves no "Nate I'm sorry" Haley says "no it's fine" I say "no it isn't this could ruin your basketball career" she says. "I'm only in high school who knows if I could ever make it to the NBA" I say "I do you're great at it and it's your dream" she says. "Let's be realistic if it heals then that's meant to happen if not then there" I say.

1 day later

  "Get up" I hear some one I open my eyes open I see Haley. "What" I say "you get to go back" She say. "Did my parents ever come" I ask "not to the hospital" she says. Shit ow my knee. "You ok" she asks "ya" I lie it hurts a lot. "Nathan don't lie" she says "I'm not I..I'm totally fine" I say "can you pass me the crutches" I ask she gives them to me. I get up and go change in the washroom. Shit no ow how do people do this. I walk out "you ready to go" she asks I nod. We go Haley drives because of my knee and arm. "What if my parents are at the condo" I ask "then I don't know" she says I chuckle we get there and it's hard to walk up the stairs. "I'm not ready to handle them" I say "they probably won't be there" she says "I can go in with you" she asks I nod like a kid she laughs. We walk in and there on the couch they turn shit. "Son" dan says "dan" I say "Nathan what happened" my mom says trying to hug me "no mom" I say. "Why are you here" I ask Haley still beside me. "Um I told you we were coming" mom says "ya but yesterday where did you stay" I ask "here" she said. "Well there you saw me can you go" I ask "no we need to talk and will you be able to play basketball again" dan says "I hope not" I whisper to myself "what" dan asks "I don't know I have a fractured bone in my knee and a broken arm what are you thinking that's pretty damn bad dan" I say. "What stupid thing were you doing" he asks "walking is that stupid" I say "yes you probably weren't looking at where you were going" he says. "Can you guys go I don't want you here" I say "but Nate" my mom says "no I don't want to here it oh and before you leave I'm married" I say my moms eyes widen dan looks angry. "You idiot to who" dan says "to Haley" I say referring to Haley beside me. "This girl she'll ruin your life she's just gonna be one of your bitches" he says I punch him shit my leg. Everyone looks surprised "don't call my wife a bitch you dick" I say. Wow that felt so good I wanna smile but I don't. "Nathan" Deb says "what I'm your son that's your husband mom who's more important me or him" I say she gets closer to dan not surprising. "Leave" I say they do "Nathan I'm so sorry" Haley says I sit down "why I don't even care" I say. "Nathan you do you just bottle up your feelings it's fine you can tell me anything" she says "in fine hales you can go if you want" I say. "No at least not until you tell me stuff" she says "what do you want me to tell you that I hate both of them and that they don't care about me well there you got it shit my knee" I say "what's wrong" she asks. "Just a little pain it's fine" I say. "Nathan you are not invincible an you aren't that strong you can't fly forever one day you will break down and crash" she says "it felt so good punching dan" I say with a smile "really you looked really happy afterwards" she says.

HALEY'S P.O.V

  "Do you want to stay at my condo you don't have to deal with Tim" I ask. "Lucas" he says "I just realized everyone related to me hates me that's so funny" he says. He medicine is probably kicking in he takes one that's pretty high. "I don't care about Lucas you can't do to much" I say "well then ok" he says "Nathan how many did you take of those medicine" I ask "I took 2" he says I help him up and get his crutches. We get to there he sits on the couch. "Tutor wife" Brooke walks out "um Nathan's staying here" I say "ok" she says. "Brooke right" he says I mouth to her what this is all about. "Ya" she replies "I don't feel any pain" he says "yes you do" I say "no punch me" he says "no" I say "fine look" he says and punches himself. "Nathan" I say "it didn't hurt" he says with a grin. "Nathan just stop" I say. "I love yoooo hales" he says "I love you too" I say.
