Chapter 24

"Sooo..I think my tummy is making sounds now..hmmm..wanna go to the canteen Eve?",she asked.

"You go first, I'll catch up with you later."

"Well suite yourself Eve."and she left.

A few seconds later, Cam came. He put his arm around me like always. I couldn't even look him in the eye for more than 2 seconds. I just looked away instantly after that.

"You looks kinda stress just now Eve" , he looked at me.

"Ugh no" I said.

"Really Eve?"

"FINE. I was stressed out just now." I said and looked down.

"Oh you don't have to be so angry about it Sunshine.", he looked at me.

"Mmmm..yeah"

Then he put his arm around me and pat my back. " Heyy.. Don't worry about it okay Sunshine. I can help you out with that."

I looked at his eyes as his light blue eyes looked into mine. But I turned away after that. I didin't even smiled. And to be honest I didin't even know why I did that.

But seeing her like that , he pulled me close and kissed me on the forehead. And whispered to me " I'll always be there for you always Eve" and hugged.

Seconds later, I looked at him, "so do you want to grab something to eat at the canteen?"

He smiled, "sure".

As we arrived at the canteen, Katie waved at us so we went to her place.

"So all good now?", she asked.

"I guess.."

You know when there's a time when you think that it's all good but some"thing" comes and spoils everything? Yeah currently I'm going to face it now. I can even count it now...

1...2...3..and..

"Hey Eve"

"What? Oh..."

I saw some girl came towards our place. At first I thoughg she was only going to pass us by so I didin't really care to see who it was. But sooner or later that girl came closer to our place and went to stand close at Cameron's side.

"Hey there Cameron", she looked at him in the eye. Guess who it is, it was Jade. Cam's ex girlfriend.

"Emm..hi Jade?", he looked at her in shock.

"Oh I miss you baby" , suddenly she on his lap and put her arms around him.

Damn.

I gritted my teeth as I look at them. How dare she?

Slowly I can see her leaning over to Cam and kiss him on the lips passionately.

"Oh shit." As Katie look at them too.

"Oh heck no", I said.

It took a a minute or two then she breaks it off and looks him at the eye again.

She stands and turned to my direction, "oh hi Evelyn. I didin't see you there. Oh and don't worry about it, I just came by to give him a little kiss that's all. Or maybe you don't have to because you guys broke up right?", sarcasticly.

"You know he's already taken right Jade" ,I look at her.

"Oh you mean you two? Oh I didin't know that.", she rolled her eyes.

"You know we already broke up Jade" said Cameron.

"But doesn't mean I can't have you back babe", she said as she holds his jaw.
