Chapter 31

The next day I woke up, luckily it's Saturday so I could woke up a little late than usual.

I got up from my bed, took a shower , got dressed and head downstairs.

*DING DONG* (the doorbell)

"Mmmmmh? Who could that be in this early morning?", I said to myself.

*DING DONG* (the doorbell again)

"Coming!!," I shouted and went quickly to the door.

Maybe it's Rick, maybe he's going to discuss about our wedding?

Or a bad guy? Oh please don't.

I opened the door knob slowly.From that moment, my heart start to keep on racing, I couldn't believe what was before my eyes. I mean why? Why now? Why?

"W...what are you doing here, Cam?," I said.

He smiled,"Well I was checking out on you and thought that maybe I could take out to breakfast unless you're very busy right now or your planing to go somewhere else,"

"Ummm no! I was thinking about going out to breakfast too,"

"Oh good then. So shall we?There's a new place over there that I know which is quite near from here,"

I nooded and we went to the place that Cameron was talking about. When we arrived at that place, we went to find a place to sit.

We ordered and while waiting for the food , he looked at me," soo..we finally meet again,"

"Yeah," I gave a warm smile.

"Hey, ummm about that day..I..I..I'm sorry about..,"

"No no no it's okay you don't have to be sorry about anything. That was a long time ago,"

"So..ermm..anything new lately?,"

"New? Oh... ," I looked down.

Should I even tell him about it? About our relationship?

"Evelyn? Sunshine?,"

I narrowed my eyes and looked at him.

"I miss calling you that," he smiled again.

"I'm seeing someone,Cam",trying to sound serious.

He frowned immeadiently," Oh.. he must be a good man,"

"He is..and I think..you may know him,"

"Mmmhh?,"

"Rick,"

"Oh him..thought it was someone else,"

The food arrived afterwards and we ate. When we finished, he paid the bill and we walked together back to my home.

When we arrived at my house, we stood by the door to say our goodbyes.

"Soo..this is it then," he said while his hands in his pockets.

"Yeah kinda is," I frowned.

"Okay then bye I'll see you soon," he turned back to leave.

Why do I feel so bad everytime he leaves? Sure I know that I don't really care for him anymore but...why am I having mixed feelings?

"Cameron..wait,"

He turned back to me,"Yeah?,"

Immeadiently I ran to him and hug him tightly, while saying in a soft voice,"I'm so glad you're here"
