The next day, I woke up a bit earlier because Rick was coming over.
*Doorbell*
Oh! It must be Rick!
"Coming!," I shouted as I ran down the stairs to the front door.
As I opened the door,I saw Rick standing there with his hands in his pockets, smiling.
"Morning honey," he said.
"Morning," I smiled.
And we went inside to discuss about our wedding in the living room.
*Doorbell*
"Ummm..someone else you invited over?,"
"I'll go get it," I went to the door to open it and frozed to see who it was.
"W-what? Are..you doing here? I mean..why are you here," I said trying to be serious and I shut the door behind to talk with him outside.
"I just...just...please Eve..give me one more chance,"
"I'm enggaged, Cam. You know that,"
"I know but..,"
I was to close the door when he hold the open with his leg,"Evelyn just listen. I know this is weird but to be honest, I still love you,"
"For all those years and now you said about this.. I'm sorry it's over,"
"We can still make this work again, Eve, just please, at least.. you still love right?"
"I'm sorry Cam.. I..,"I stopped,tears then start to fill around my eyes , I could feel myself like I was hit by a truck. My feelings are mixing together as I was confused to believe if this is true or not.
"..I wish could but I can't. Everybody changes now, Cam. It's different,"
"But not you. Believe me, if I was able to go back time and make everything alright, I would.. but I can't. I can't change the past but I know I could still make things right, right here, right now,"
