Author Note: This chapter will be a little bit longer than others. Basically it's Emma's Pov and Abby's Pov of the same day and similar events. If you want you can probably skip one of their point of views if you don't want to read it. If you read this author note completely through, congratulations hang a star on your refrigerator. If you don't have a refrigerator, put a star on your front door so all can see it. And look at the picture I have here. Looks like Xander is coming into play. I really don't know what I am writing. Anyways love life, pet a cat, and enjoy the chapter.

Emma's Pov:

Today is the day of Abby's funeral and I dread to see her lifeless body. I got ready and looked at my room. All of my belongings were put into boxes. I would be moving to my aunt's house next week. My parents got divorced a week ago and were selling the house and moving away from here. They told me that I could decide who to live with and I said my aunt since she lived in the area. I would visit my mom one weekend and my dad the following weekend once they got settled in there houses. I looked in the mirror to see if I looked presentable. My hair was in a tight bun and I had a plain black dress on. I also, of course, have Abby's necklace on. I picked up the vase of white tulips that I would put by Abby's coffin. Tears threatened to flow but I stopped them I want to be strong for her. I made my way to the funeral home where the funeral would be and felt something, like a force is pulling me in there. I walked in and made my way to the casket where the force I felt feels the strongest. I looked down at her. She was wearing a white dress with  long sleeves and her hair flowed out. She was holding white roses in her hands. I turned away because I couldn't stand the thought that I did this to her. Then I saw something glow and looked down to see that it's the necklace that I was wearing of Abby's. I put the flowers in front of the coffin and took the necklace off. Then I put it in her hands and bowed my head since tears were ready to spill.

What happened next was something I didn't expect to happen. A bright light flashed. I looked to see that it was the necklace. The light was spreading across Abby's whole body until it covered her. Everyone in the room had to look away to not be blinded. Then the light faded. I heard a deep breath and gasps. I turned and saw that Abby was sitting up in the casket?! How-? Is she really-? Is it possible that she really is-? Questions flew into my mind. People all around started to whisper about if it is true. After a few more death breaths, Abby looked around at the people talking and sighed. She then saw me and smiled. I was too shock to do anything. She took the necklace and put it on then she took the flowers and put them in a nearby vase. I just noticed it, but Abby also had a new look. Her black hair had now turned into long white hair, she had amber eyes instead of her gray ones, and the biggest difference of all was that she had wolf ears!

Abby notice people starting at her and spoke. "You like it." She spun around. "I got a whole new look." I finally found my voice. "Abby b-but how?" She smiled at me. "The Fates." She said loud enough for everyone to hear it. People gasped. If she is here because of The Fates, then something important is happening. We all were silent waiting for Abby to explain. "I am here on a mission most people wouldn't be able to undertake. One that I can not share. But I will tell you this, I am here to stay until my time comes. I will resume my schooling and continue with my life. Now if someone would be so kind to send an owl to the movers and get my stuff back into my house so I can live there that would be nice."

No one said a word, we all just stood there until someone spoke. "I'll do it." The boy that said it stepped out from the crowd. It was Xander. He was visiting his grandparents when Abby died. He felt bad that he couldn't help her and didn't go to school for a week when he came back home. Abby, Xander, and I used to be best friends when we were younger. Then Xander had to move for middle school. He came back for high school but we aren't as close as we used to, but we still acknowledged each other in the hallway and at lunch before- well you know. Then he walked off to do the owl message.
