I'm Back... Did You Miss Me?

Ch. Twevle: Wait? WHAT?!

Author's Note:
I'm Back! Kinda. It may seem like I didn't even left but I did. I updated like I said I would right? Yes I did. The picture in the chapter is to remind you of what Xander looks like. And yes he will be appearing in this chapter. I hope you enjoy it and warning, it's a bit shorter than usual.

Abby's Pov:

Less than two weeks have pasted and a lot of things have changed. Lola introduced me and Emma to the other Fate members. We had time to talk and find out more about each other too. We all tried to find the last Fate member but with no luck. It's like he doesn't even exist. No one has heard of the Mind Control Fate, no one. There's not even a hint of where he might be too. But now isn't the time to think about that. Today is the day Jordan comes back from training. It was a Saturday so we didn't have to miss school. Jordan and I would go over to Austin's house because it's the biggest and no one will bug us there. I asked Emma if she would want to come but she said she had to study for a test. We were in the living room when the portal popped up and out steps Jordan. At first I didn't even recognize him. He was wearing the black training suit and stood with so much authority. "Wow. Just wow. You look different." Emma said. Jordan put out his hand as if shunning Emma. "I shall not speak with mortals." He said in a voice like Kaos. "Oh no! I knew people change but not this much!" I exclaimed and Jordan laughed. "Relax I'm fine. Just joking around is all." He said and I sighed in relief. "Yeah as much as that Kaos impression is impressive, it would start to get annoying real soon." I said. "Abby's right about one thing, people change a lot from training." Emma said. "How did I change? Do you mean stronger and smarter?" Jordan asked. "No, mentally. Like you seemed more chilled than before, like we've been friends since we were kids." Emma explained. "Well a lot can change in two weeks." Jordan said. "Oh that reminds me. I met six of the Fate members while you were gone." I said. "What? How!" Jordan asked. "Long story. I'll tell you in the car. Come on,  I know you just got back in all but we gotta go met them at Austin's house." I said as I dragged him out the door. "Bye Emma." I said as I shut the door. "Can't we have a cookie first?" Jordan asked. "Emma didn't bake any yet, she said she will after she finishes studying." I said and he nodded. We got into the car and drove off. Then I started to explain the events that happened the past two weeks.

Emma's Pov: (it's been awhile since I used her Pov)

I was sitting down studying for my exams when the door bell rang. I stood up slightly annoyed and answered it. "Hello?" I said. "Emma? What are you doing here? I thought this was Abby's house?" Xander said. "Xander? Hi and yes this is Abby's house. I'm living with her." I explained. "Oh." He said. "Why do you want to see Abby anyways?" I asked. "Can I tell both of you at the same time?" He asked. "I'm sorry but Abby's not here. She left ten minutes ago and I don't know how long she'll be." I said. "Where is she? I think she'll want to know." He said. "I can't give a location, sorry." I said. "Well she might want to know." Xander said. "Know what?" I asked. "Where the last Fate member is." He said.

Xander's Pov:

I was debating whether or not to tell Abby. She might think I'm lying, but she might believe me. I might as well try. I got into the car and drove over to Abby's house. I walked up the steps and rang the doorbell. I waited a few moments and then she opened it. At least I thought it was Abby. "Hello?" Emma said. "Emma?" I asked. "What are you doing here? I thought this was Abby's house?" I asked. "Xander? Hi and yes this is Abby's house. I'm living with her." Emma said. "Oh." Was all I said. "Why do you want to see Abby anyways?" She asked. "Can I tell both of you at the same time?" I asked. "I'm sorry but Abby's not here. She left ten minutes ago and I don't know how long she'll be." Emma explained. "Where is she? I think she'll want to know." I said. "I can't give a location, sorry." Emma said. "Well she might want to know." I said. "Know what?" Emma asked. "Where the last Fate member is." I said and she gasped.

(I would end it here but the chapter isn't long enough. Also I'm feeling nice and spare you a boring meeting of the Fates)

Emma's Pov:

When I heard what Xander said I gasped. "Where? Who is it?" I asked. "His name is Michael. The only problem is that he lives in another dimension." Xander said scratching the back of his head. "What?! Then how do you know him?" I asked and he sighed. "Well, um, I might, um, had been born in the dimension....." He said. "What!?" I said. "I'll explain everything to you and Abby. I know that she's probably busy so I can come back later. Can you call me when she's back?" Xander asked and I shook my head. "Nah ah. With this kind of news she has to come back. I don't know where the exact location is but she has her phone with her. I'll call her and tell her to come back." Emma said as she stepped aside. "Come in. I'm making cookies after I call her." Emma said. "Why are you baking cookies?" I asked as I walked in. "Because it helps me not think." Emma explained as she pulled out her phone.

Abby's Pov:

We were all in Austin's living room, talking about the problem at hand now. 'Where is the last Fate?' "We got to find them soon. The ceremony is gonna be in two months and they need two weeks for training too! None of the past Fates had ever failed to find each other before the ceremony. What's gonna happen if we don't?" Ryan exclaimed. "Don't worry, we'll find them. You just gotta be positive." Paige said. "Positive? How can we be positive when we had such a short deadline?!" Julia said. Paige was about to speak when my phone went off. "Hang on a second." I said as I answered and stood up. "Hello?" I said. "Abby! Come home quick! I got news! Big news that you gotta hear!" Emma said. "Well what is it? I have to help them figure out about the Fate issue." I said. "That's the thing. Xander knows who he is and where he is." Emma said and I stood there shocked.

Author's Note:
Yes, this is where I'm ending the chapter. Sorry it's short again but I needed to have a cliffhanger. I don't know yet if Abby will met the last Fate yet. I haven't written the next chapter next. I was gonna actually have Jordan fight Max but decided against that. I hope you did enjoy the chapter, and the little troll, and have a nice day. 😊
