Abby's Pov (six months later):
So far everything has been moving smoothly. The world hasn't been blown up yet so that's good. Michel and Emma have been dating for about three months now. Turns out everyone has a teleporter line from their new house to their family and friends. We have also been working on the duds. The new law that all people will have powers is going to go into play in another two weeks. People who are duds can be given powers. We asked the former council and they said that they have been trying to do this for years. The fact that I was a dud and was able to learn not one but nine powers made the Council of Elders rethink having duds. We also change when people get their powers to thirteen so that they have more time to learn before adulthood. The biggest surprise to me is probably Julia and Xander. They started dating about two months ago. Well they actually started dating five months ago. They just told us two months ago. Life is going well so far, but Jordan has been off. I asked him what's wrong and he won't tell me exactly what it is. He said to wait and that's it's for the future anyways. I wonder what's that all about. But there's no point in worrying now. I guess I'll just have to wait to see what the adventure is. But until then, I'll be enjoying life. And I hope you do the same.
