Author's Note:
This is gonna be a quick little note, hopefully. Me, being an idiot, went to do the Pov and I was like, "Um..... What's her name again?" So basically the author of the book she is writing forget her main character's name. I know right. Face palm now. So that was just a stupid moment in my life for you to enjoy. Anyways happy readings.
Abby's Pov:
I was amazed that Jordan was a Fate. Maybe all Fates have a tougher past. Nah. I doubt it. It's just a coincidence that me and Jordan had that past. Right? I shook that thought out of my head. Right now me and Jordan are walking down to my house in comfortable silence. I could tell that he wanted to think about everything that happened so far. I mean, even though I acted like being a Fate was no big deal to people, I was kinda... scared. Maybe also confused. It took a while to get used to it. In fact I'm still not used to it. Being a Fate isn't something little. It's a huge deal. You're basically the top dog of the world. You can easily change someone's Fate. Also and most importantly, they pick the future Fates. They choose the next rulers of the world. 'Will I be good enough?' I thought, but this thought soon left my mind when I sniffed the air. A smile speared across my face and I grabbed Jordan's hand. "What are you doing?" He said as I ran, basically pulling him behind me. "You'll see when we get there." I said as we turned a conner. I ran about halfway down the street and up the steps to my house. I threw open the door and left go of his hand. Not bothering to close the door, I ran into the kitchen. "Where are they?" I asked Emma. She looked confused but soon went into the freezer and pulled out a tray of heaven. "I knew you would want one but they were so hot I put them in there to cool a bit. They're still a bit warm. They were in there for a minute tops." She said and I grabbed one. "Wait until I get the milk at least." Emma said as she got two cups. "Um, excuse me. Abby what did you make me run here for? Is this your house?" Jordan asked. I turned. "Yes this is my house and we came here to get a bite of heaven." I said and went back to my cookie which I could now dip in milk since Emma got me a glass. "Come take a seat. My name's Emma." Emma said as she took out another glass. "Jordan." Jordan said as he sat down slightly uncomfortable. Emma put a glass of milk at Jordan's and her spots and we sat down. Knowing that it was uncomfortable for them I spoke up. "Emma, is it alright if Jordan lives with us?" I asked her. I know it's my house but it would rude of me not to ask her for consent. "Of course Abby. It's fine by me. Besides, it's your house. Jordan, you can have the guest bedroom if you like." I smiled thankful for her saying yes. "Thanks for letting me stay here. I don't know what might have happened if Abby didn't find me." Jordan said with a shudder. "And that reminds me, I'll get the first aid kit." I said as I stood up and walked to the wall that had it.
I turned back and saw that Jordan didn't even touch his cookie yet. "Jordan come on. Eat the cookie. Trust me it's delicious." I said and I walked back to the table. He looked hesitate, but soon bit into the cookie. He moaned with delight and then blushed slightly at embarrassment. Emma giggled and I laughed slightly. "Don't worry. The first time I had one of her cookies, I keep stuffing them into my face. She had to make like two dozen more." I said and smiled at the memory and placed the first aid kit down. "Can we do that later? At least let me finish my cookie." Jordan said with a half un chewed cookie in his mouth. "Chew and swallow before talking and yes we can wait to do it." I said and sat down. "I would also like to do it myself if that's okay." Jordan said and I nodded and we all finished our cookies.

Emma and I were in the living room watching Sam and Cat. Jordan was upstairs in his bedroom. Emma wanted to check on him but I said not to. I know how hard it is to get used to the life as a Fate after having no powers at all. I was so into the show that I didn't notice that Emma was speaking to me until she shook me. "Abby? Earth to Abby are you there?" Emma said. "Um. What is it?" I asked and Emma sat down. "What are you gonna do?" She asked and I was still confused. "What do you mean what are you gonna do?" I asked her and she sighed. "About school! What are you gonna do about school?" Emma said. "Go to it duh!" I said and she face palmed. "People aren't believe the 'late power getter' act one bit. No one in history has said that before. Soon they are gonna find out the truth or spread rumors. How are you gonna cope with that?" I thought about for a second. Then I snapped my fingers. "I got it!" I exclaimed. "What?" Emma asked eagerly. "I need a cool super hero name and catchphrase!" I told her and she shook her head. "What it's a good idea." I said. "I'm seriously right now. I don't know what will happen and I'm scared about you." Emma said. "Okay okay. The school year ends in a month, right?" I asked and Emma nodded. "So I'll go to a new school for the rest of high school so then after that, there'll be no more trouble, right? It's full proof." I said happy with my plan. "No." Emma said. "No?" I asked. "No, we have two months left Abby. Then high school is done. You might as well finish it out. Just promise me you won't battle people, okay?" I sighed. "Fine we'll do it your way. But I can't promise that I won't battle anyone. Outside of school I can't anyways but I'll try not to in school. Now I just need to know what high school Jordan goes to. Then I'll be set." "I said as I walked around the room. "Revenge plan?" Emma asked and I nodded. "What about a butter sock?" Emma asked as she pointed to the tv. I couldn't help but laugh. "Nah, I need something better. Something that will teach them not to mess with people." I kept pacing around the room until Emma jumped up. "I got it! What if he does what you did?" I thought about it. "Hey it's worth a shot. And if all ends badly, we come in with a few butter socks handy." We both smiled mischievously. "Now all we have to do is get Jordan to agree.
Jordan's Pov (After he became a Fate, so technically the beginning expected his view):
I was shocked that I was a Fate. I mean, me, a person who has no friends or family is expected to care for and rule the whole world? No thanks. I wish I took the history of the Fates instead of world history. I could find out how to reject being a Fate. I wonder if Abby knew about me being a Fate and that's why she was nice to me. I mean she said she could relate to me, so she might have known. I was gonna ask her when she stopped and sniffed the air, a huge smile appeared on her face. I was about to ask her what was it when she grabbed my hand and started running, pulling me behind her. "What are you doing?" I asked. "You'll see when we get there." She said and kept running. I thought that I would have been in pain from the earlier beating I took but I'm fine. It's like I never got hit in the first place. We turned a conner and ran down a sidewalk. Then somewhere in the middle of the houses she ran up the steps, opened the door, and let go of my hand running into a different room. I looked and whistled. 'This place was like a mansion.' I thought. After I stared amazed, I shut the door and went where I saw Abby run off to. I walked in and saw Abby sitting at a table in a kitchen and a girl placing a cup of milk on the table. I thought it was rude just to watch them so I talked. "Um, excuse me. Abby what did you make me run in here for? Is this your house?" I asked. "Yes this is my house and we came in here to get a bit of heaven." Abby said like it was and every day thing. "Come take a seat. My names Emma." The girl said. 'Oh so this is Abby's best friend.' I thought to myself. "Jordan." I said as I sat down. She placed a glass of milk on the table and I didn't know what to say. Luckily Abby spoke up. "Emma is it alright if Jordan lives with us?" Abby asked and I held my breath, afraid of the answer. "Of course Abby, it's fine by me. Besides it's your house. Jordan, you can have the guest bedroom if you like." Emma said and I let go of the breath. "Thanks for letting me stay here , I don't know what would have happened if Abby didn't find me." I said with a shudder. "That reminds me. I'll get the first aid kit." Abby said. Emma looks at me, confused and I mouth a 'tell you later' to her and she nods her head in understanding. "Jordan, come on. Eat the cookie. Trust me it's delicious." Abby said and I hesitate. But then I picked it up and ate it. Believe me, if heaven had a taste, this would be it. I moaned with delight and lightly blushed because they were laughing. But I felt better when Abby talked about the first time she had one of Emma's cookies. Abby placed down the first aid kit on the table. "Can we do that later? At least let me finish my cookie." I said with cookie still in my mouth. "Chew and swallow before talking and yes we can do it later." Abby said sitting down. I thought about something for a second and said, "I would also like to do it myself if that okay." Abby nodded her and we finished our cookies.

I was amazed looking in the mirror. There wasn't a bruise anywhere to be found. Instead I had hard, callus (don't know what callus means so I'm rolling with it) skin and an eight pack? I didn't even have a six pack before! Thank you Fates. "Your welcome." A voice said and I jumped. I turned around slowly and saw a glowing guy with long spiky hair, red robes, black gloves and bandana over his mouth, and gold chains. He had glowing red eyes to match his look. "W-who are you?" I asked as I backed up. Then he did the unexpected, he laughed. "Don't worry Jordan. I won't hurt you. I just need to explain somethings to you." He said. "Well if you need to explain somethings, can you start off with who you are?" I asked. "I'm Markus. Mark for short. I'm the current Fire Fate." Mark said like it was no big deal. "W-what?! You're the Fire Fate?! Are you here to fix this mess?" I asked. "What are you talking about 'fix this mess'?" Mark asked. "I mean the mistake of me being a Fate." I said. "The Fates make no mistake when choosing who to pick for the future council. I picked you myself I did." He said with a grin. "Well you made a mistake." I said and his grin fell. "Listen, it wasn't a mistake. You are going to be the future Fire Fate whenever you think you are or not. That is not a choice given. In the future you will see your true strength. But for now you mustn't let anyone let you no. That girl Abby can help train you in basic fighting, but not the elements. That is a job for the Fates. I will call upon you to train tomorrow. When you come back you must face all of the people you put you down in the past. For now go and let the girls know. I'll see you soon." Markus said before smoke wrapped around him and he disappeared. I stood there, shock for a few seconds, then I slowly walked downstairs.
Author's Note:
Hey what's up my peps. I have one question to ask you. Should Jordan do what Abby did to the bullies or do something different. If no one responds, then I'll do whatever I think will be good when writing the chapter.
