I'm Back... Did You Miss Me?

Ch. Twenty-Two: Final Chapter

Abby's Pov:

As I got dress, I couldn't help but wonder why Emma didn't just tell me that. I get that she might want to not talk about it but why make something up. The truth wasn't embarrassing at all, so why did she lie? I got changed into a black t-shirt, jean shorts, and a pair of black boots and headed downstairs.

"Good morning Abby. Chocolate chip pancakes?" Lola asked. "Of course. Thanks Lola." I said as I sat down. "Does anyone else think this place should have elevators?" Austin asked as he walked in. "Well who really cares now. This is the last time we'll be here." I said. "Don't you have to come to congratulate the next Fates?" Emma asked.

"Yeah and we also have to come here in one year." Julia said. "Wait, why are we coming back here in a year exactly?" Jordan asked. "We will have successfully ruled for a year. It's another congratulations party." Julia explained.

"Oh well in that case, let's just get secret elevators just for us." I suggested. "Wonderful idea, and they'll be installed before next year." Austin said. "Well let's call the council and ask them." I said. "Um... Abby, we are the council now." Samantha said. "Oh, I forgot. Well at least now I can complete my life goal of ruling a whole dimension and making everyone bend to my will." I said.

"Abby!" Everyone shouted. "Sheesh, it was a joke. Man did you guys really have to scream that loud?" I said rubbing my ears. "I scream louder than at Abby and you hardly complain." Emma said. "Wolf like senses." I said and she nodded in understanding.

"Speaking of the council, we're going to officially start ruling today." Ryan said. "Yeah, I guess it is." Paige said. "Life's going by fast." Jordan said. "Too fast. Who wants to go skydiving?" I asked. "Sure." Austin said. "I'm in." Julia said. Soon everyone agreed expected Jordan.

"Come on Jordan, are you chicken?" I said. "Yes and proud of it." Jordan said. "Come on chicken nugget, don't you have any air magic in you?" Julia asked. "It disappeared after training." Jordan said. "Come one, for me?" I asked with puppy eyes. "There is no way I'm sky diving." Jordan said.

                    *Time Skip*

"How did I let you talk me into this?" Jordan said. We were in the airplane, moments away from going skydiving. "Well it's pretty easy to do." I said smiling. "Okay that's it you two. Spill it." Julia said. "What?" I asked. "Are you two dating or what?" Julia said. "What gives you that idea?" I asked.

"Well that's a yes." Julia said. "What gives you the idea that we are dating?" Jordan asked. "It's clear that Abby was the only one that could get you to do this." Julia said. "Plus we couldn't find you two yesterday at the party." Austin said.

"Who said that two friends can't hang out?" I said. "But yeah we're dating." Jordan said and I turned to him. "What happened to keeping it a secret?" I asked. "It went out the window after Julia asked." Jordan said. "Get ready." The pilot said. We stood up and gathered at the doors.

"Ready?" Julia asked and we nodded. "Three, Two, One!" Julia counted down. On two she opened the door and on one we all jumped.

*skipping skydiving*

"That was fun." I said while handing in my sky diving suit. "Well I'm never doing that again." Jordan said. "Why not?" I asked. He looked like he was having so much fun. "Because I'm not going to let you let me into it again. I like my feet on the ground thank you." Jordan said.

"You realize that the council room and our new houses are in the sky, right?" I asked. "Oh great." Jordan said and I laughed. "Hey guys, we gotta get back to the mansion." Michel said. "We have to be there to leave at 5." Sammantha said.

"What time is it? I asked. 4:28." Paige said. "Okay let's go." I said and we went to the car.

(They drove out to the skydiving place at eleven, had food at 11:52, waited thirty minutes. Then had to get a lesson and get ready. They got in the sky at 3:12 and sky dived at 3:47. Ps I have no clue how to sky dive.)

"Are you ready?" The Nature Fate said. "Can you really be ready?" I asked and she shook her head. "I want all of you to try your hardest." She said. "If you have any questions you can see any of us any time." The Shapeshifter Fate said.

I hugged Emma. "Try not to mess up everything, okay?" She said jokingly. "Okay, but can I still bend everyone to my will?" I asked. "Not a chance. Jordan you watch after Abby for me. If you hurt her I will hurt you." Emma said. "Noted." Jordan said. "Take care of Jenny for me Emma." He said.

"Jordan, try to visit me. Okay?" Jenny said. "Of course I will. And remember what I told you." Jordan said. Jordan had to take Jenny aside a few minutes ago to tell her about the passage way. It still has to be installed but we will get it installed as soon as we can.

Everyone else was saying goodbye to family members and friends. Once everyone was done, the Fates, or should I say former Fates, made the portal. "All you have to do is walk in. Good luck and lead well." The Ice Fate said and all the Fates disappeared.

"On the count of three?" Paige asked. "On the count of three." Julia agreed. "One, two, three!" We all counted down before walking in the portal to begin out new lives.

Author's Note:
This is the last chapter guys. I'm not *sniff* I'm not crying. I'm sorry it's short but I couldn't think of any way to make it longer. The book would have ended after the ceremony but I wanted a little romance in there. I will have the epilogue posted tomorrow on Sunday. I may also have a final author's note explaining what I'm going to do. Now I'm going to go to the bathroom and not cry. I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
