Ch. Seventeen: Reunion

Flashback
Abby's Pov:

"You seem stressed, what's wrong?" Emma asked. "My parents, that's what. If they hadn't have done those stupid mistakes when I was younger, then I would have him still in my life." Blonde said. "Who in your life, a boyfriend?" I asked. "My brother, Jordan Shuck." Blonde said and Emma and I gasped.

Flashback over

Abby's Pov:

"What?" Jenny asked. "You're Jordan's sister?" Emma asked. "Wait, you know him?" Jenny asked hopeful. "Yeah, I know him. One thing is that I have never heard of you before." I said. "Please, show me where he is. I need to see him again." Jenny begged. Before I could speak, Emma talked to me. "I think we should. If she's telling the truth, then only Jordan will know." Emma said. "But he never mentioned a sister before." I argued. "Maybe it was too personal, plus we all have been busy right?" Emma said and I sighed. "Fine, we'll show you where he is." I said. "Thank you thank you thank you!" Jenny said. "But please give us like five minutes so we can do what we came her to do okay?" I asked and she nodded. After Emma and I got the paper work signed, we decided to walk home since it really wasn't far from the house. Plus it would give me some extra time to get to know Jenny. "Oh and just so you know, I'm Emma and this is Abby." Emma said. "Hi." Jenny said quietly. "So Jenny, where you from?" I asked. "North Bilnord." Jenny said. (Say it like it's spelt) "Wow, that's pretty far from here." Emma said. "Why did you come this far?" I asked. "I wanted to see my brother again, I came up here less than a year ago. I wanted to stay with him but he wasn't doing well for himself. I didn't have a job or anyway of helping other than offering him to come move with our parents. He said no and that I should go home where I could be taken care of and grow up in a better situation." Jenny said. "Why did your brother not move with you and your parents?" I asked even though I knew why. "I was told that he didn't want to come and was staying at a friends house. Came to see him after I found out the real reason." Jenny said. "And that is?" I asked and Emma elbowed me. "I shouldn't talk about without his consent." Jenny said and I nodded. "We're here." I said. I opened the door and we all walked in. "Jordan, you home?" I yelled. "Yeah." He yelled from somewhere in the house. "Come down, we have a guest." I yelled as I led Jenny into the living. I motioned her to sit down and Emma and I did the same. I could hear Jordan running down the steps and into the living room. "Who is i-" Jordan started to asked before he saw Jenny. "Jenny? What are you doing here?" Jordan said. "Well..... I kinda sorta..... saw our parents bad side." Jenny said, the last part in a whisper. Jordan walked over to her slowly, and when he got to her, he dropped to her level and hugged her. "Come on Emma, let's give them some privacy." I said and we stood up and left.

Jordan's Pov:

Seeing my sister here was a surprise, but hearing that she got beaten was worse. I hugged her and comfort her as she cried. Once she calmed down, I asked her the question. "I thought you said they changed. How long have they did this to you?" I asked. "After they found out I visited you." She said, tears ready to spill again. "Don't worry Jenny, everything will be okay. You're here now, away from them. I'll protect you, don't worry, okay?" I asked. "Okay." She said. "How did you find out where I was living?" I asked. "I went to the house dealer ship because the owner of your old apartment said that you moved out. The person working at the dealer ship said that she didn't have your current location on record. I met Abby and Emma there and we talked, they brought me here, and here I am." Jenny said. "Well I'm glad you're safe." I said. "Now I have a question for you. Why do you look different?" Jenny asked. "I'm a Fate." I said and Jenny gasped. "But you were a dud last time I came here?" Jenny said. "Well I got my powers late." I said. "Where are you living?" I asked. "I..... don't know yet." Jenny said. "She can stay here if she wants." Emma said appearing around the door way. "But what does Abby say to this?" I asked. "I would say that it's not up to me cause I currently don't own the house." Abby said. "What do you mean?" I asked. "I gave the house over to Emma since the ceremony is coming up soon." Abby explained. "Ceremony? What ceremony?" Jenny asked. "The ceremony that let's me become a Fate." I said. "After you guys go to your new houses, Jenny and I will be the only girls in the house." Emma said. "You mean I can stay with you?" Jenny asked. "Of course. You're only what, fifteen? You shouldn't have to work and pay for your own house yet. You can stay with me as long as you want." Emma said. "Really? Thank you so much. I owe you big time." Jenny said. "You owe me nothing, having another girl in the house when those two leave will be enough by itself." Emma said. "Hey Jordan, maybe you can give Jenny a tour or just go on a walk so you can get to know each other better." Abby suggested. "That's a good idea. Come one Jenny, let's go." Jordan said grabbing her hand and they waved to us goodbye.

Author's Note:
I am actually putting this in before I finish the chapter. I have writers block at this moment but felt like I needed to be a bit more productive. I am actually putting more planing in the next book so I have all of the details set. I might even have dates so that I know the day and everything. I might, if I had/have time, make a little handbook on the Fates and what they should do and what they can do. The next book I will have more detail with the training so that people can better understand what Fates go through for training. Also I will have the name of the next book in the last Author's Note posted on this book. I will also post it on the chat thing? If you don't know what I'm talking about, I'm talking about when you go to someone's profile and click on conversation. Time to finish writing the story.

               *Five minutes later*

I'm done with the chapter. I added on to one part with more detail so it's longer. I hope you enjoyed it.
