Maybe silence
Is the loudest sound
That human ears can hear
The feeling of being alone
In the dark
With no light to be seen
No hand to guide you
No walls to hold on to
Around you
Maybe the voices in your head
Come alive
At your darkest times
Their voices scream
And beckon
And cry
And suddenly your mind
Comes alive
In the worst times in the void
Maybe when you're scared
Of an uncertain future
And a dodgy present.
