I was being carried down a dark stone hallway by a man in black. A member of the King's League. Terrin.
I wiggled out of his grip and fell to the floor. I scrambled to my feet and ran, not knowing where I was going. I made it ten steps until Terrin grabbed my wrist and pulled me back. I stumbled over my own feet and Terrin hauled me over his shoulder. I kicked at his back but he didn't let go. We were in Buckingham Palace. Considering the King has so many castles, he used this one for historical tours until the Rebellion had become a threat. Then, he used it for a jail.
Terrin dropped me into a cell and locked it. I was all alone.
It's only been two minutes and I'm already bored.
I looked around for something to do. All I found was a hole in the wall in the corner. It had a view of St. James's Park. Suddenly, I heard something small hit the stone floor. I turned around realizing I wasn't alone. There was a girl a little older than me huddled in the corner of the cell across from me. She didn't looked terrified or scared. She looked bored. Like me.
We were going to get along just fine.
