I turned around to see the police officer who told me about the men in black walk toward his cruiser. Then, a bunch of other police officers burst through the doors of the hospital and one of them shouted something. A few moments later, guns fired and screams were heard. After that, I saw Jeremy and Ryn being escorted out by two police officers. Jeremy looked unfazed and Ryn looked exhausted and haunting with bags under her eyes and her face flushed. A bunch of other officers and special forces ran in the building to take control of the other terrorists and victims.

Jeremy was in a plaid jacket and trousers and Ryn wore the bright white hospital uniform. Jeremy grabbed Ryn and sat her down on the ambulance. He then crouched down in front of her and began asking her questions. She kept shaking her head. Suddenly a police officer walked up to her and her eyes widened.

A nurse walked in front of me and I moved my head back and forth to see what was going on but she eased me back Into the ambulance and started checking my eyesight and if I had brain trauma.

After she was done, I snuck off and sat down next to Ryn and Jeremy. He was sitting next to her now with his arm around her.

She looked up and her eyes widened again. She flung her arms around me. "Serena! We-we thought--"

I scoffed. "If I can live through Jeremy's awful jokes, I can live through anything."

Ryn laughed and Jeremy leaned over to look at me, an eyebrow raised. "Excuse me?"

I laughed at him and we sat there, arm in arm.

I looked around to see a woman in a blazer and pencil skirt stand straight in front of a man with a massive camera.

"We have a developing story on the terrorist attacks on Charleston Ave. Stay tuned. . ." Her voice faded off and I watched her slowly turn around to put down her papers. She had a very angled face that was caked with makeup and her golden blond hair was let down in waves on her shoulders.

There was nothing special about this woman but for some reason, I could feel Ryn leaning over to catch a glimpse of her. I looked down at Ryn. Her eyes were wide and she looked about ready to collapse but she screamed out, "SADIE!" It was more of a shriek and my ear drums practically burst. Ryn jumped to her feet and ran after the woman.

Jeremy and I grabbed her arms and held her back. Jeremy one manned her and I crouched in front of her.

"Ryn? Ryn! That's not-not Sadie." I turned around just to make sure. "Sadie's not here remember?"

Ryn squeezed her eyes shut then opened them again. Jeremy dropped her arms and she sighed. She grabbed at her white shirt and looked up at the cloudy sky.

I heard a bunch of shouts and an engine starting. I turned to see an ambulance with its doors closed drive onto the main road and take off. Then, a bunch of black vans that I didn't notice were here had followed it.

"Well that was sketchy." Jeremy chuckled.
