"Where are we going again? To your little superhero cosplay group?" I asked, grabbing what I could find in my house that I could actually use in the future. The boys had actually moved the bodies from my room and tried to clean as much as possible, but the smell and stains still remained.

Gemma rolled her eyes. "Yup. I'm gonna be Ekonuta that anime character from the show about dragons."

I snorted and stuffed Sadie's shoes in my bag.

Indigo had put her choppy, thin, bleach blond hair into pigtails that went to her ears. "Gemma, Isaac told me to tell you that Apollo was told by Ria that Ace went missing."

Even Indigo herself looked utterly confused.

Gemma nodded, but I stood there gaping at the strange names that came out of Indigos mouth. Yes, in the future we kind of named our kids whatever we wanted, but seriously: Ace? Apollo?

"So, you two were kidnaped pretty much by the King's League. . . And now some other guy is?"

"Girl." Gemma corrected. "And yes. We think they want recruitments because they're kind of dying out and they're scared well make a move."

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion and decided not to think about it.

Walking down the street was nice. It was almost normal. If I hadn't had the black figure looming over me, the small blond, skipping around, and just not having Jeremy and Serena around was torture.

I thought maybe if Isaac had manipulated me into following him, than maybe when he was distracted, I could make a run for it. But no. Every time I thought about it, his head turned in my direction. I wonder if he can also read minds- I wouldn't be surprised.

I must have a power then! Why else would they bring me to their little base where kids with powers dwelled?

Suddenly, there was a crash and a loud deafening roar. It was coming from down the street where lots of people seemed to be shopping.

Then there were screams and I was revisited with memories of the hospital, Sadie's death, and all the terrorist attacks that I had heard on the news.

Isaac of course, grabbed my arm and lead me and the group back into a new and totally unfamiliar underground station.

We boarded a train and I felt very confused and overwhelmed at my situation.

I was boarding a train with a group of strangers with super powers and now I guess we're going to theirs little hideout.

I took a package of small biscuits out of my back pack and started munching on a few. That was, before Indigo slapped them out of my hand, knocking them to the floor of the train. I looked at her with an eyebrow raised.

"What was that?" I asked. "We're they poisonous or something?"

"No."

"Then what-?" She cut me off.

"They were organic."

I just stared at her, hoping she understood that she just wasted perfectly good food.
