For lunch, I didn't eat a thing. I wasn't hungry at all and I knew if I tried to consume anything, I'd probably vomit.

I gave up on food and said bye to my table.

As I walked out of the dining hall, I saw Isaac sitting on the wall, waiting for me.

"Isaac." I caught his attention. "Why do you need to follow me all the time?" I was less agitated today, remembering one of the Queen nurses saying Jeremy would be alright.

He gave a long sigh. "I told you. And considering I'm your partner, I'd like to know what you're doing." I rolled my eyes and he paused. "Do you want to get your tattoo today?"

"But, you said that I didn't have a specific power. So how am I supposed to pick one?"

"Well, I'd suggest you just pledge your allegiance to one rank. It's just easier to sort you that way." We started walking.

"I'd suggest you be a Queen." He requested.

"Why?"

"Because it's better than all the others."

Better than all the others. Wow, that's great. "I think I'm going to pick the Fools."

"Wow. You could be anything yet you choose to be one of the lowest rankings." He smiled. "You're extremely unpredictable."

I just shrugged and once we got to the tattoo parlor, we were greeted by smiling twins.

Sapphire got to do my barcode as Isaac just stood, admiring the artwork on the walls.

When he turned, I beckoned him over. I whispered in his ear. "Are you sure I can't just get my own personal symbol? It would be way cooler." Thankfully Sapphire was only halfway done with the barcode, and hadn't even started on the symbol.

"I guess so." Isaac looked a little weary.

I told them what I wanted it to look like and they made it happen.

Tilly came knocking at the door after dinner and she told us that there was a letter sent from Terrin specifically to me.

Isaac, however jumped up from his desk and snatched the letter out of her hand. Turning away, he mumbled, "Bye Tilly." And the young girl walked away as the door slid back into place.

Before I could even muster a complaint as to why he took my mail, he ripped it open. "Do you know who Terrin Altros is?" He looked up at me, still opening the letter.

I shook my head.

"He-he killed your parents. . . And Sadie."

My stomach turned. So he shot my sister dead in the street. He entered my own house and killed my parents in such grotesque manor that I now have even more nightmares.

Terrin Altros.

I watched as Isaac's eyes skimmed over the letter and he growled. "Here, you read it." He shoved the letter into my arms and I read through the cursive writing.

Dear Ryn Elizabeth,

I, Terrin Altros, request to meet you in person along with your friends Mr. Harold, Mr. Vassen, and Mr. Reyes.

There is a football match tomorrow at one. I'd like you all to be there.

You, may not help or join in our duel and if you do, I'll blow up the stadium. Same consequence if you choose to ignore this message. Not to mention, the King would like to make a trade with you and Ria Perry. We'll bring her to the stadium. All you have to do is take her place.
