So I haven’t updated in awhile and I’m really sorry about that. I've been so busy with planning this story that I forgot to upload it. Often, I find it easier to write little paragraphs, or scenes that dont fit with the current moment of the story, but go along with the plot later on. so basically, I dont write the story in order of events, but more so however order that i think of ideas in. Anyways, here it goes. Enjoy. Please comment/ vote/ fan!

Chapter 10- The Back Country

After a day of travelling, night quickly followed. The flowers curled in their petals, and the beasts came out to hunt. Early next morning, Castor and Sam awoke to the steady rustling sound of fur. Sam blinked a few times, and rubbed the sleep from his eyes. He then yawned, and stood up from his spot on the ground. As he started to walk towards the sleeping form of Castor, Sam stopped in his tracks.

Shuffling around Castors rucksack was a large figure. It was doubled over, and walked on four legs. Shaggy, matted fur hung from the folds of the beasts skin. It grunted quietly as it tried to open the rucksack with its claws.

With the body of a grizzly bear, and the head of a boar, the beast roared out in frustration. It turned its ugly head, and then it saw Sam. It sniffed at the air a couple of times, and then realizing what was happening, it took a step towards Sam.

“Castor,” Sam mumbled, trying to wake his friend with out moving too much. “Castor,” Sam said again. “Castor wake up!” Sam yelled at him. The beast roared loudly, and tremors filled Sam's body. Slowly Castor began to stir, and he soon enough awoke, and gaped at the monster. The beast was making its way over to where Castor sat on the ground, and where Sam stood behind him.
