(I am sorry, Riarkle is life)

It had been a couple weeks since the cafeteria incident and things actually couldn't be better.

When I first went back to school it was hard,because I felt like everyone was judging me and being cautious around me. Now everything has pretty much calmed down and is back to normal.

Riley, Farkle, Lucas, and I have especially grown closer throughout these weeks. Without them I wouldn't be able to do any of it. They have really helped me work out my problems.

I feel myself little by little getting put back together. Maybe I'm not going to always be that pathetic and worthless girl.

"Hey Maya," I hear someone call as I enter the school's front doors.

I turn my head in the direction of the voice and see Farkle beckoning me to come towards him. Chuckling, I make my way to him and wait for some witty remark to come out of his mouth, but it's actually the complete opposite.

"I want to ask Riley out."

My whole body freezes and I stare at him in shock.

"Uh Maya?"

I shake my head slightly and instantly a smirk makes its way on my face.

"Maya, you're making me worried."

"Took you long enough!" I practically shout and slap his arm.

He quickly puts his hand over my mouth and looks at me as if I am crazy.

"Sure, why don't you just scream to the whole school about it!" Farkle hisses and glares at me.

I roll my eyes and lick his hand, making him pull away in disgust.

"Maya!"

"Whoops."

"Hey guys!" Riley says from behind us and we both turn around startled.

"Oh hey, Riley," Farkle laughs nervously and scratches his neck.

Riley looks from the two of us and raises her eyebrows,"What's going on? What did Farkle do?"

"Oh, I am not apart of this!" I say and run away from them, ignoring Farkle's protests.

I look back laughing and make my way to my locker. Opening it, I grab my books for first period and throw my bag in it.

"Hey, Maya how are you?" I look over and see Lucas leaning against the locker beside me.

I smile slightly and shrug," Pretty good, how are you, Cowboy?"

"Same for me, ma'am," He winks as I roll my eyes, closing my looker.

"Can I accompany you to class, ma'am?" Lucas sticks out his arm and raises his eyebrow*

"I don't know, can you?" I reply and he groans.

"Maya, I am trying to be a gentleman! Can you at least go along with it?"

"Fine, I guess," I sigh and wrap my arm around his.

Lucas smiles at me and begins walking down the hall, to Matthew's class.

"You're a dork," I laugh as we enter the classroom.

"But I am your dork," He smirks at me and I widen my eyes.

I unlatch my arm from his and take a seat, not saying a word still. Soon everyone enters the class and I see a nervous looking Farkle and a confused Riley.

Typical..

Just as Matthews begins to speak, Lucas leans forward and whispers,"Cat got your tongue?"

I glare at him and quickly turn my attention back to the front.

Something hits me in the back of the head and I whip my head around and see Farkle pointing to my desk. I roll my eyes and look at my desk and see a crumpled up paper. Opening the paper I squint my eyes to see what he wrote.

'I was too scared.'

I grab my pencil and quickly write back, making sure no one sees me doing it.

'You have to ask her today. Wouldn't want that new kid, Charlie, beating you to it.'

I crumple it up and throw it to him, accidentally hitting his face. He glares at me and unfolds it. I watch as he reads it and slowly see a frown across his face. Farkle looks at me worried and I shrug my shoulders.

"Better ask her." I mouth and turn around.

A FEW HOURS LATER..

RIIIINNNGGGG

I sigh contently as the final bell rings. I dart out of my classroom and to my locker. Grabbing my bag, I make my way towards Riley's locker, but see Farkle and her talking. My feet begin to take slow steps backwards and I quickly hide behind the nearest wall.

Suddenly I hear a loud scream and I instantly look around the corner. Farkle and Riley are hugging, so I am guessing she said yes. Smiling I move back and wait for Riley to come.

"See you then!" She says and I hear hear skip towards my direction.

Just as she is skipping by me, I grab her arm and pull her behind the wall. She begins to scream until she sees its me.

"Oh my gosh, Maya! Don't do that!" She puts a hand over her heart and I chuckle.

"Bay window, bay window right now," I say and grab her arm, walking out of the school.

So I updated..after forever whoops. Sorry everyone I know I know, I am the worst. But I finally updated so yay! Seriously guys I am sorry that I don't update a lot. Just don't really like this book..sorry :(
