Link waited until all the Smashers went to their side of the mansion, to avoid a run in with Palutena. He ran to Pit as he was unlocking his room door. "Hey Pit!" Link called. Pit turned with a smile, "Hey Link. Good ni-" The Hylian cut him off with a swift kiss to the lips. Pit threw his arms around Link's neck and kissed back. Some of the male smashers took notice and started to cheer.

Link parted and laid their foreheads together, "Come and have a sleepover in my room." Pit tilts his head, "What's that?" Link had forgotten that Pit had very little friends here and at home was hated by most gods. Link chuckled and explained that they'd sleep in the same room and play video games and M&M cookies would be consumed. Pit excitedly agreed and went to his room to change to his sleepwear. Link smiled and left to prepare in his room.

In his room Link laid out snacks on his table and covered the bed in blankets and pillows. He was going to spend so long with Pit that he'd cure all future affection withdrawals. Link stood in plaid sweats and a baggy green tee, his hair a mess from wearing his cap. A knock at the door informed him that his date was here. Link opened the door with a smile, "Hey there, cutie." Pit blushes he walked inside. Pit is wearing polka dot sweats and a navy blue racer back. Pit sits down on the bed as Link closes the door. When Link returns to the angel he throws a few blankets over him and smiles, "Comfy?" Pit nods with a blush. The brunet's eyes wander to the snacks, "Can I..?" The blond nods and hands him two M&M cookies, who eats them hungrily. Link turns on the game and hands Pit a controller.

After a few Mario Kart races, Link is laying with his head on Pit's lap as the angel is focusing on the finish line. Link's Toad stops moving on his half of the screen. Pit stops and pauses the game. He looks down at his blond boyfriend, who has a smile on his lips. "What," Pit giggles as those blue eyes scan his features. "Oh nothing. Have I ever told you how handsome and cute you are?" was Link's suave reply. Pit blushed, "You only tell me all the time."

Link sat up, "Well it's true." Pit's head rested upon Link's shoulder as the Hylian munched on some snacks. "I'm so happy we're back together. I was worried Palutena would have scared you off, " Pit mumbled. The Hylian chuckled, "It'll take a lot more than a human hating goddess to scare me." Pit yawned as Link turned off the system and television. Pit laid under the blankets as Link moved their mess to the table to clean in the morning. Link slipped next to Pit and turned off the bedside lamp. The Angel embraces Link and lays his head on his chest. Link's hands come to rest just under the wing roots. They sigh at the closeness. Pit's hair was soft on Link's chin. He kissed the top of that cocoa brown mop and held him tighter. "I love you," the blond said sleepily. Pit raised the blankets higher, "I love you too." The Angel raises his head to press his lips to Link's. The Hylian smiles and hums into the kiss out of good feeling.

They fall asleep in each other's embrace, listening to the other's steady breathing and the crickets outside.

The next morning Pit awoke to a gentle snore from his boyfriend. He smiled to himself as Link looked so precious when he slept. The freckled farmer before him was the love of his life. Suddenly a soft groan came from his sleeping mate then a single light blue eye slowly opened. Link smiled at the younger male in bed with him and uttered a sleepy, "Good morning, my love." Pit blushed and laid his head back on Link's chest, "Good morning." The Hylian held onto the Angel tightly, giving him all of his undying affection.

Pit wiggled from his grip and sat up, stretching. Link joined him and sat up as well. Pit's wings spread out and hit Link on the back of his head. "Oops sorry!" Pit giggled. Link leaned over and caught the angel's lips in a searing kiss. Pit smiled and kissed back. The angel's soft silky wings wrapped around the two like a shield, radiating warmth. Link pulled away with a smile on his face, "Every kiss with you makes me feel as nervous as I was with our first." Pit giggled and pecked his nose.

Link slipped out of bed and started to clean up the gaming system. Pit slid out of bed and sat at Link's kitchen table. "What are you gonna do about the leftovers?" asked the Angel. Link looked over, "Take what you'd like. I could give the rest to Marth and Roy." Pit reached over for the chewy Chips Ahoy and held them close. Link smiled and checked the clock. "Want to go down for breakfast?" The angel nodded, "Yeah just let me get dressed."

The Angel left and Link threw on his tunic. He waited by the stairs of the boys side for his boyfriend. Pit walked out in his own tunic and they walked downstairs.

"I think you can agree on the struggles of intergalactic war machines. I mean with gravity adjustments, Sam," Fox was conversing with the Metroid hunter. "I just stick to guns. I feel they're better but nothing beats my ship and suit," replied the bounty hunter. Link and Pit sat down at their table with their breakfast. "Hey Sam. Hey Fox," Pit smiled. Samus smiled back as Fox gave Pit a fearful look. Link took a drink of his tea and sighed. "How was the date?" Sam asked in a hushed tone. Pit blushed. Link smirked, "It went great. I couldn't get the little guy off me." Pit's wings fluffed up and his face grew pink, "Liar! Stop teasing me in public!" Samus and Fox shared laugher.

"Oh Link, you're with me today. We take on Lucina and Ganondorf. I need you on Mr. King of Evil because...you know his weak points," Fox McCloud said, taking a bite of bacon. Link swallowed his bagel and nodded, "Oh of course. I have a little grudge to settle with ol' green skin, and it doesn't involve Hyrule." Samus became more interested, "Oh do tell!" Link chuckled, "Well it all started when Ganon paid me a visit in Ordon, the kids I watch over had just set up-"

Samus laughed at the hero's tale. She looked over at the once filled seat beside Link. Pit had left most of his food, which is odd. She scanned the room for the Angel and noticed him causing trouble. "Uhhh...Link," she whispered. Link turned his attention from Fox, "Yeah Sam?" She pointed up. Link followed her finger to see Pit hanging Marth by his cape on a chandelier. Pit landed down on the floor. Link stood up and ran over. He looked Pit in the eye and shook him. "Pit what have you done?!" Pit blinked and smiled sweetly up at the hero, again acting as if nothing occurred. Link disregarded Pit and pulled his slingshot from his side pouch. Marth was hung by a nearly loose golden branch jutting out from the light fixture. Luckily Link was as close to a sharp shooter as they were getting.

He drew back a seed in the leather sling and aimed for a loose screw. He hit it and the branch and Prince came falling down. Link dropped the weapon and extended his arms out for the Royal. Fortunately, Marth was safe. The bluenette sighed in relief, "Thank heavens Link. Please keep your boyfriend on a short leash." Link rolled his eyes and let Marth stand. Pit ran over to the Hylian and gasped, "I didn't do it Link I swear! First thing I was eating and the next thing I knew you shook me and Marth was-" Link frowned, "If you're just going to lie, stop. If this is some crazy way to get my attention...well I'm all ears now!" Pit opened his mouth to speak but remained silent. Link scoffed and walked out. Zelda was the only one to go after him.

"After all I've done for him. Why can't he just be honest?" The angry hero mumbles to himself. "Wait a minute Link!" Zelda calls. Link halts for the female brunette. "Perhaps he is being honest," she suggests. "Or perhaps he's lying!" Zelda pouted, "Now why would he lie? What's to gain? To lose?" Link continued down the hallway trying to escape the nagging princess. A sudden burst of black feathers speeded down the hall. "Have all angels lost their minds?" He asked himself, retrieving his room key.

"No Pittoo! I don't wanna talk about it!" Cried a familiar voice down the hall. Link's heart dropped. "Come on, Pit what's wrong? We're reflections! You can't hide pain!" Yelled Dark Pit. Pit's room door slammed shut. Dark Pit looked at Link and floated over, "You. Do you know what happened?" Link swallowed hard, "I-I may have been the cause." That was all the dark angel needed before his hand was on Link's neck. He slammed Link hard on the room door, "Make it up to him. If not I'll make your life hell! And angels don't lie..." He released the Hylian and flew off.
