Ross' POV
I trudged into the classroom,'my feet feeling heavy and my head pounding like crazy. For the past three days, I had been horribly sick with the flu, and today, I came back to school. Even though I didn't pay the most attention in class, I still did a little bit and I didn't want to miss anymore work. I am now regretting my decision.
The first thing I did as I sat down in my 2nd period classroom seat, was pull out the note from the desk. There were words written across it.
Hello? Reid? Ruben? Where are you?
I snorted a little bit as I read all of her name guesses. It seemed as if she guessed every single name that started with 'R' except for Ross. A simple, 4-lettered name. It was quite amusing.
I took out a pencil to respond.
Hey, I'm sorry. I was really sick. What did I miss?
I taped the paper underneath the desk again, and placed my head in my hands, trying to ignore the throbbing pain.
Finally, I gave up. I raised my hand, and my teacher came over to me. "Mrs. Walker, can I please go to the nurse?" I groaned, nodding my head in thanks as she gave me a slip to leave.
