Ross' POV
After making two bowls of ice cream, I picked them up and brought them to the couch. I usually didn't like to eat food on the couch because I hated having to clean it up, but I could make an exception every once in a while.
I handed Laura a bowl and plopped down beside her, sinking into the soft cushions. I jumped a bit as I heard her squeal, hoping that I hadn't hurt her. Concerned, I turned my face towards her. Our noses were only centimeters apart, and God, her eyes were like a chestnut galaxy....
"Oh my Gogurt! Cookies n' Cream is my absolute FAVORITE!" she said enthusiastically, a cute little smile easing across her face.
I laughed a bit and took the remote from the coffee table, turning the TV on. "What do you want to watch?" I asked, eating a bite of ice cream. I started scrolling through the channels, when she placed her hand on top of mine.
"Channel 97! Ugh, I love this movie!" she said quietly, taking her hand off of mine and continuing to eat her ice cream.
"You learn somethin' new every day, don't you? Who know a girl like you would like Romeo & Juliet?" I teased, clicking on the channel. Little did she know that I was a fan of this kind of stuff too, but of course, I would never in a million years tell her that.

Sniffles filled the dark, silent room, and they weren't just coming from Laura, either. I didn't want her to see me all choked up from just some ol' movie, but I had always had a thing for romantics. Especially Romeo & Juliet. I slung my hand around the head of the couch, so that my hand was partially around Laura's shoulders.
She turned towards me, looked back at the TV, and then did a doubletake. Squinting her eyes, she said "Woah, Ross, are those tears I see?!"
I felt my face turning red and I looked down, embarrassed. "Uh, no.."
Laura laughed and went back to watching the movie, wiping away her tears with the top of her hand.
I let my hand gently caress her head and play with her beautiful locks. God, her hair was so gorgeous...
She is so gorgeous...
