Chapter 24

When Michelle finally woke up I said "good morning" "you stayed here all morning?" "Of course! I would never want to leave you and let you wake up alone" she smiled at me "well I'm glad that you stayed" "me too but thing is I had to get up and out of your bed,I had to hide underneath your bed from your parents" "why'd they come in?" "To check on you I guess" "as always,did you hear anyone talking?" "I think so" "did you hear what they were saying?" "Something about someone to keep a close eye on you and to tell them if anything happens" "that would be my parents telling my brother to keep a close eye on me an to tell them if anything happens,they always do this when I have a boyfriend" she said while laying down on her stomach and her face in her pillow "they'll get over it when they get used to me being around more and when they get to know me better" "let's just hope" we smiled at each other "anyway I have to go back home now before your family knows that I'm here" her smiled faded and turned into a frown "hey! Turn that frown upside down!" I sang while doing funny dances she giggled "okay you turned my frown upside down,I just hate seeing you leave" "I hate leaving you but that's the way it has to be till you young lady" I said while tapping her nose "are a grown up!" She frowned "I know and it sucks having to be young and you being a grown up" "I know it sucks" she frowned "I'm going to miss you" "I'm going to miss you too,but the main thing is that we had fun last night didn't we?" "Yes" she smiled remembering last night and i smiled too "I'll text you and call you okay?" "Okay love you" "love you too" we kissed then I left her room and ran back to my car and left her house.

I got home and there was a man sitting down on my couch "who are you?" "I'm James" "your in Michelle's music class aren't you?" "Yes I sure am Mr. Jackson and your the teacher for our class" "yes I am,how'd you get in my house?" "You left a window open" "why'd you even come in here?" "Because I need to talk to you about something" "you could have just waited at the front door" I said while walking over to the open window and closing it then walking back over to James "what do you need to talk to me about?" I said while sitting down "you and Michelle" "what about us?" "I know what you two have been up to" "what do you mean? What do you think we have been doing?" "I mean how you took her to your house,you sneaking through her bedroom window and you coming over to her house" "have you been stalking her or something?" "No I'm her best friend and when I try to come over I always see you in the house or sneaking in,you know her parents don't like you" "yes I know that but they'll like me as soon as they get to know me" "yeah and you do know that her brother had been keeping a close eye on you two?" "Obviously" "good so I would be careful if I were you" he said while getting up "why would I have to be careful?" "Because if you try banging her I'll tell her parents and everyone at school" "think about how Michelle would feel about that,she would move schools and she would try committing suicide or try to move out of her house" James looked down "I know she would but you see I don't care because she would never know about me telling everyone" "I would also get fired and you'll have to go back to boring teachers,no fun,no playing instruments" "true that would be boring but I would rather have a boring teacher than to have one that has banged my best friend!" "James please don't do this to me,I bet you've wanted to be in a relationship before but couldn't because your parents said no or she was already taken" he looked down knowing I was right "yes that's true but this is a different matter,your doing illegal things" "I know I am but please I know I'm THE one for Michelle and I know that Michelle knows that too" "but me and Michelle have always had a great bond till you came along and started to be our teacher and visiting a lot" "I'm sorry I didn't mean to ruin your great bond,it's just that on the first day I didn't know who else to go to,to show me to the classroom but I have a plan okay?" "Okay,what's this plan of yours?" "You hangout with her as much as you like and I'll back off a bit" "okay thank you" he said hugging me then breaking the hug and leaving.

I thought to myself 'it's going to be so hard to back off Michelle,she's my one true love! I absolutely love her! maybe I'll just text her and call her from this point on' I got out my phone and started texting Michelle (M: Michael S: Shelly)
M: hey babe
S: hey Mikey
M: how are you?
S: I'm good,how are you?
M: I'm great
I started to think whether or not to tell her about James I decided not to as he wants to have a great bond with her
S: I wish you were here with me
M: me too :)
S: you doing anything tonight?
M: I have papers to grade remember?
S: awe take them aside
M: I can't I have only tonight and tomorrow night to do them
S: :( okay
M: please don't be sad I didn't mean for it to sound angry
S: it's not that
M: what is it?
S: somethings changed between us
