"Sky, come on, move it or lose it!" Sarah Jane shouted, ushering my daughter out of the house and towards the taxi taking us to the airport. "That flight will not wait for us!"

I laughed, loading up my suitcase and carefully laid out my wedding dress on top. "Given that my brother is flying the plane, then maybe we won't miss the flight. Mickey won't leave without us. Are you sure that my Uncle Jack is going to get Luke to the venue in time?"

Sarah Jane put both her hands on my shoulders, giving me a reassuring smile. "He has promised me that you will have a groom ready and waiting when you start to walk down that aisle, Callie. Are you alright, you seem tired."

"Yeah, uh, nightmare. About, about my dad. He's, he's not gonna make it to the wedding." I told her softly, moving aside to put Sky's case in the trunk. "So, yeah. I'm going to walk myself down, Sarah Jane, I mean, it wasn't like he was every going to turn up anyway."

She hugged me, and I hugged her back as Sky got in the car, her hair already in the hair rollers to carefully fluff out her hair in a way that wasn't just untameable frizz. "You might be surprised, Callie. Come on, Mickey's waiting, and you still have to have your own hair done, and your make up. Rani and her family went up last night, and obviously Clyde is with Luke, as is Captain Harkness and have is on best behaviour, mostly because Carla and the Chandra's don't know what's going on."

"Thank you, for all of this, for always being here and accepting me so amazingly, Sarah." I told her, my eyes welling up with tears as I just clung to her. "I don't know what I'd do without you..."

"You'd still an amazing wedding, and an amazing life. Come on, in. Mickey Smith Awaits."

We got into the car, and I tried hard not to bite through my nails, my legs bouncing up and down in the footwell. "Cold feet, love?" The cabbie asked with a smirk. "Don't see how any man can win your heart, you must have broken quite a few men."

I raised an eyebrow. "And what is that supposed to mean?"

"Just saying, you're possibly the last type of woman I expected to get married and settle young. You're any guys wet dream."

"Is, is that supposed to be a compliment?" I asked incredulously, feeling my power fill my voice. "I'm not settling, I've been with Luke for 6 years, this is our adopted daughter. It's not cold feet, it's the fact that my dad died last night, and he told me that he'd haunt my ass if I didn't stick to my wedding plans. So you are going to shut your mouth and give us this ride for free because of your ride remarks."

The man fell into silence, and I just stared out of the window, furious for myself for letting any of this get to me, for letting slip that last night was the night that my father sent for my past self, and Amy and Rory, and mom. We got out at the private airport, and stood outside the plane waiting for us, was someone who had known me since I was 13, Mickey smith. "CJ!" He grinned, hugging me as I ran to hug him, and it was amazing to see how well his life had turned out, after dad had unintentionally ripped it apart. "I cannot believe the little girl from the streets all those years ago is getting married."

I laughed then, shaking my head. "I know. It's too bad Rose can't be here, but I'm so glad that I have you right now, Mickey Mouse."

"Oi, Nyan Cat." He laughed, messing up my long red hair. "I like this, but I'm sad that you ended up changing again so soon. You got a good 50 years out of that first face. Martha, come out here a sec!"

Then his wife came out, already dressed for the wedding as this was only a short flight, and I stared. Martha Smith was pregnant! "Oh, wow!" I laughed, carefully hugging her. "A baby on the way, Mickey Smith. Boy or girl?"
