River and the Doctor this time, one of my all time OTP's :) Izzi xxx

Clara:

"Midna, you've told your gramps to behave, right?" I asked her, trying to make sure that her flat was really tidy. "Because my step mum is very much not into this wedding as it is, baby."

Sky grabbed me, pulling me onto her silk blanket covered legs, kissing my neck softly. Oh, this was so good, but we needed to make sure that everything to go to plan, because with the wedding not that far in the future, we wanted our families to get on. "You, my Navi, are worrying too much. My mum is on gramps duty, Nana is on Lyric and Noah duty, and dad is on making sure no one says anything about time travel or aliens."

Sighing, I turned to straddle her, still careful of her back as I did, and kissed her softly. "I know, I know, but I worry. I don't want my family to be retconned if your gramps lets loose on how last week you were proposed to by the Emperor of the Universe."

"But before that, I was proposed to by the Queen of my Heart." She smiled, letting me rest my forehead on hers, tracing her thumb lightly over my lips. "Stop worrying, my Control Freak. My mum may not out control freak you, but she is a bit of a control freak herself. I'm more worried about Uncle Jack gate crashing with a Weevil. The Rift closed in Cardiff, thanks to Uncle Ianto fighting Queen of the Underworld. but it's going to turn up somewhere soon."

Oh, if Jack turned up, we were screwed. "I swear to god, if he turns up, I am not letting you work with him. Come on, my soufflé should be done by now." Midna groaned. "Oi, I heard that."

"Look, have you ever considered that you just weren't cut out for soufflé's?" She asked, moving into her kitchen, with low sides for her to use in the chair, while I tried to take out my attempt at my mums soufflé. "See? Good thing I asked my mum to bring dessert."

"I am not giving up. One day, I will be soufflé girl." I smiled, leaning down to peck her on the lips as the front door knocked. "Oh, that better not be dad and Linda, they're supposed to get here last so we can make up cover stories. It's alright for you and Sarah Jane, you have good cover stories, journalist and games developer, like dad remembers."

Sky sighed, swapping her chair over to be controlled by a joy stick. "Yes, I know. But mum is a housewife who used to be world famous as SongBird, and my dad is a currently out of work doctor, and gramps well... He's having to pretend to be mums brother because he looks about 30, and younger than mum. We really need him to get here soon."

And then we heard the TARDIS start to materialise. "No. Oh, no, no. Where's he going to fit?!"

While Sky went to answer the door, I rushed to try and find him, and he was in Sky's bedroom, the TARDIS crammed against the bed. "Doctor, what the hell are you doing, you were supposed to park outside and knock like a normal person, not land in the bedroom! What if my parents had already been here?!"

"Well, are they?"

"No, not yet. Luckily, you got in just before they did. Cover story, quick. You're Sky's Uncle John, and you're, you're-"

"I'm a scientist for UNIT, and I only get to come over to see her rarely." I blinked. "I thought of a cover story. Sky means a lot to me, and I want her to have the perfect wedding, OK?"

Which made me hug him tight for a moment, before looking back, hearing Sarah Jane's voice. "OK, coast is clear, it was just Sky's nan. Come on, and also, park outside next time!"

He just brushed me off, coming into the dining room where Sarah Jane was stood with Sky, looking older than I remembered her, but at the same time, she still looked gorgeous. "Clara, lovely to see you again. I see I arrived at the same time as the Doctor, like, right at the same time. I thought you were supposed to land outside?"
