"Bye bye, baby, I'll pick you up later!" I waved to Lyric who was being dropped off at the childminders, while I went off to do a photoshoot with Amy, and try to fix hers and my grandfather's marriage. They were perfect together, why would they break up? "Bye, love you!"
I headed to the road, sticking my arm out to grab a taxi, and luckily for once, I managed to catch one. "Abbey Road Studio's, please."
"Course love. Hey, you that SongBird woman?"
Oh, great. People recognising me. "No, sorry. Just a tourist who loves the Beatles." I lied smoothly, wishing that I'd just stuck to doing YouTube. Two albums out there, and people were noticing me. "Can you hurry up a little, please?"
He sped up, and we got there a few minutes after, before turning around to take the money from me. Except I ended up with a face full of stun gun. "Bad Wolf is acquired."
When I came to, I was in a large white circular room with Luke, Sky, who should have been at college, Amy, and Rory, who was waking up too.Three generations then. "Where are we?" I asked, checking over my husband and daughter as Rory went to a small window.
And there were Dalek's outside. "So how much trouble are we in?"
The door opened a moment later, admitting a Dalek, back to the old Gold styling that I managed to rip apart on many occasions. "How much trouble, Mister Pond?" Dad asked, following it in under escort. "Out of ten? Eleven."
The ceiling opened above us and the floor rose like an elevator, lifting us into a large domed area with a multitude of Daleks in tiers around us, and the White Supreme Dalek nearby, along with an organic Dalek and the TARDIS. "Where are we? A spaceship, right? Mum, Gramps?"
"Not just any spaceship. The Parliament of the Daleks." I told her softly, holding her close. Oh, Lyrica... "Be brave, my Diamond Sky."
"What do we do?" Amy asked, while dad started to walk around.
"Make them remember you, especially you, Mrs Bad Wolf." I was not absorbing the Time Vortex again, it gave me a really bad headache! "Well, come on then. You've got me. What are you waiting for? At long last, it's Christmas! Here I am."
Dad closed his eyes, expecting extermination that I covered Sky's eyes for, knowing how close she was to her gramps. Expect the organic yellow voice came up from the big stage up higher than us. "Save us. You will both save us."
He looked at me, and we both blinked, and I moved Sky over to her dad. She'd never met a Dalek and I never wanted her to have to. "We'll what?"
"You will save the Daleks." All the Dalek's in the crowd started to repeat it, and I tried to remember how I controlled my voice, having not needed to since my wedding.
"Well. This is new."
Then dad started to pace, as I tried to build up a barrier of sound around us, but I was really out of practice. "What's he doing?" Luke asked, having travelled the least amount of time in the TARDIS besides Sky.
Amy answered, because Rory was still wary of her, having lived with us for nearly 2 months now. He was great when I freaked over Lyrica's heart and a half, but it did get annoying if Luke and I wanted some nookie."He's chosen the most defendable area in the room, counted all the Daleks, counted all the exits, and now he's calculating the exact distance Rory and I standing apart and starting to worry. Oh, and look at him frowning now. Something's wrong with Amy and Rory, and who's going to fix it if control freak Callie can't? And he straightens his bow tie."
"We have arrived."
"Arrived where?" Dad asked the Dalek PM as I gave Luke a reassuring smile. He was a doctor, he shouldn't be on a Dalek ship, and Sky was taking Games Development!
