A/N: I basically just wrote this whole chapter today, but it's fine because there wasn't any school today or any day for the next two weeks. That means I'll hopefully be writing more too.

Speaking of writing more, I came up with a new idea for a story I wrote a while back but then unpublished to edit.
So, when I get to a point in this story (or maybe when I finish this story) that's what you can expect from me next. I might post a description at some point, but I doubt I'll be starting the actual writing process for a while.
Anyway, enjoy this chapter, and don't forget to vote if you did c:

If there was one person Luke never thought he'd see cry, it was Kitzie.

He didn't know Kitzie that well, obviously, but he'd seen her whenever the group of Conor's friends met up. Plus, he'd sometimes hear about her from Tina if they saw each other. They didn't see each other very much, but it was progress. From what he'd heard, Kitzie didn't cry in front of other people. Sure, she'd show anger or frustration and all sorts of emotions, but she'd never cry.

Then again, he'd also never expected to walk into Ezra's room to find three nurses, Ezra and Kitzie all standing there. At the time, no one had shown any other emotion than happiness, which Luke had found a little strange.

"Uh, what's going on?" He said, standing awkwardly in the door way.

One of the nurses turned around. "Where's your nurse?"

"She - I don't know, I don't have be with her so much anymore," he said. There was a little pride in his voice as he said that. He was told by his nurse yesterday that Jeffrey and some other nurses had got together and discussed his progress. They'd said he'd made enough to be left alone more often, since they no longer thought there was as much risk of him doing anything stupid.

There was a squeak from the other side of the room and he turned to see Ezra skipping towards him. She jumped and wrapped him up a bear hug. He laughed; it had been a while since he'd had an Ezra hug. In fact, he hadn't seen her as much recently when it was just the two of them. She had been going out a lot. He could remember her mentioning going to see Nathan and Amelia, so he assumed that was where she went all the time.

"I think she's proud of you," Ezra's nurse said, and it was the first time he'd seen that woman smile.

Judging from the way her arms tightened around him for a moment, she was.

"I'm a new patient here," Kitzie answered his previous question.

"What, really?" Luke didn't know what he'd been expecting, but it wasn't that.

Sure enough though, the nurses didn't object to the statement. In fact, they were helping her move some of her things to her room. He stayed for a while, sitting on Ezra's bed with his pink haired best friend next to him. Kitzie was helping out and looking through some of the things they brought through. She hadn't brought much, and it gave him a sense of deja vu.

One thing he didn't understand, however, was what had changed her mind. Whenever he'd seen her, she had always been closed off and never spoke about anything that could be troubling her. Even Tina had said that she wondered about Kitzie, because she'd always heard things about Kitzie having a breakdown or Kitzie having a problem, but she'd never seen anything like it. Apparently, the whole group wondered about Kitzie sometimes. They could tell something wasn't quite what it seemed, and they knew that Lola knew much more than they did, but they never got told anything.

Just for Kitzie to admit she had a problem must have been hard, but moving into a mental facility, that must have been a surprise for all of them.
