Dinah's P.O.V.

"This really isn't a dream?" I asked as I stared at the metallic floor beneath me. I paced back and forth in the same part of my room as if walking would give me an answer.

"I'm sorry, but it isn't. The only way you get off of this boat is if someone buys you at the docks," the dark skinned girl said sitting on a bed with a thin mattress.

"But Normani and I got your back," the short girl said. "And I guess this girl to, whoever she is."

"My name is Lauren. I am Dinah's guardian angel," said the girl with the gorgeous eyes.

"I guess the stress has made this girl go loco too," the short girl said.

"Ally! Be nice," Normani chastised.

"I'm not lying. I am an angel. I was sent here to help Dinah," said Lauren.

"Then where are your wings?" I asked.

"They were taken away from me. I have to earn them back by helping you. I suppose I can help you guys out too," she said giving a glance to Normani and Ally.

"I'm sorry, but I can't take you seriously," Ally chuckled. "Can you even prove your an angel?"

"If you really want," she said with a small smirk.

After a couple seconds, I blinked and the image of the gorgeous girl with the jet black hair was gone. At first, I just yearned to see those beautiful green eyes that settled into the porcelain features of her face. Then I realized that she was just gone. Was I going through a psychotic break or something? How did she disappear?

I turned to look at Normani and Ally, and their faces held the same level of shock as me. I guess she really vanished. This must be real. Maybe she was just-

"Aaaaaahhh!" I let out a scream when I blinked again and her features appeared right behind Ally.

"Please don't kill me," Ally said after screaming and toppling to the floor when she realized what was happening. She tried to crawl frantically away from Lauren, but kept tripping over her own limbs in fright.

"Relax, I'm not a demon. I wouldn't hurt you," she said with a voice that smoothed over my tensions.

"How do we know that?" Normoni asked.

"As an angel, it is my duty to-"

"Ha! You said duty," Ally chuckled.

Lauren glared at her in annoyance with ferocious eyes. I don't think I could withstand the intensity of eyes as beautiful as hers. Ally's chuckling stopped abruptly as soon as she saw that look. To Be honest, I'm glad Lauren put her in her place for a second. She can't even take a moment to be serious.

"Well, how do we get out? You locked the door when you closed it," said Normani.

"Whenever the next person opens that door, we are all going to fight them. Beat them up with everything we got," Ally said.

"Oh, really? It's that easy? Considering the doors only open when we land," Normani chimed in with sarcasm.

"And if that's the case, we'll just be sold to some pedophilic psychopath," I said.

"That's perfect," Lauren said enthusiastically.

"How is that perfect?" I asked.

"Because they haven't seen me yet. I can just pose as a buyer and then buy you out of here."

"With what money?" Ally asked.

"I'll ask God in my prayers. He'll give me what I need to help His people."

"I really hope you're not some kind of wacko because I really need to get off of this damn ship. We've been on here for weeks now," Normani said.

"All that we need to do is get me out of this room. Once, someone comes to open the door-" Lauren was cut off.

The metal door opened up behind Lauren before she could finish her sentence, so what's the plan now?
