Destiel One-Shots

Not Today

Dean came home from work at 3:00 everyday and is usually greeted by his younger boyfriend, Castiel, at the door. Keyword usually. Today, Dean was greeted with nothing by silence. There was no dark haired boy waiting to tell him about his adventures in college. 

Dean takes his shoes off by the door and walks through apartment and calls his boyfriends name and nothing comes in reply. "Cas", Dean calls again. "Angel, where are you." A groan from the bedroom draws Dean's attention. 

Dean turns towards the bedroom and opens the door. He sees, not a boyfriend, but a pile of blankets with a mop of dark hair. Cas looks like he's been in the same place since Dean left this morning. 

"Cas, have you gotten out of bed today?" Dean asks. That earns a shake by the dark head. Dean climbs on the bed and gets under the covers, "Well isn't that a sight for sore eyes."

Cas just turns his head and buries his face into the pillow. Dean chuckles and grab his chin, turning his face back towards him. He gives him a deep kiss that makes Cas chase after Dean's lips when he pulls away. Cas huffs and shoves his face into the crook of Dean neck.

"Babe, whats wrong?" Dean asks, running his fingers through the boys hair. 

Cas sighs sadly, "Today is the day that MCR broke up.." Dean lets out a sigh of relief. It wasn't anything too serious. 

"Not to serious! DEAN MCR BROKE UP TODAY!" Dean's eyes widen, he had said that thought outloud. "I mean, you don't just end a band after 12 years! Why would Gerard do this!" 

"I'm sorry, babe." Dean apologizes. "You know I don't fully understand your bands." 

Cas sighs again, "I know. But it would be like if AC/DC broke up after 12 years. Imagine all the songs that weren't recorded."

Dean's lets out an "oh". He understands now how this must feel for Cas. "Do you wanna watch Toy Story?" Dean asks, knowing it always cheers Cas up.

Cas looks up at Dean with a smile, "Yeah, please?"

Hellooooooo! Today is my first day of spring break! But I silently cry emo tears for MCR. Anyways, I'm going over to my friends house later, so, YAAAY!
