Destiel One-Shots

Sleep

"Dean." Castiel whispers into the dark room, expecting a reply, but instead is met with silence. It's 1:37 and he can't sleep a wink.

"Deeean." He tries again, this time poking the sleeping mans cheek. This time gets a response, if Dean rolling over and putting a pillow over his head counts as a response. 

"Deannnnnn." Castiel whines, lifting the pillow to speak to the man.

Dean rolls back over towards Castiel, squinting his eyes at the man, trying to gain focus in the dark room. His hair is all over the place and he has a deep scowl on his face.

"What the fuck do you want, Cas. I'm trying to sleep." 

Cas tilts his head, "Why can bee's fly?"

"What." Deans says, propping himself up on an elbow. He looks over Cas' shoulder to the alarm clock, "It's 1:40 why the fuck are you even awake?"

"I mean," Cas continues, totally ignoring the question, "according to the law of aviation, a bee's wings are too small to carry it's body. So why can they fly?"

Dean flops on his back with a groan, glaring over at his boyfriend, "I don't know Cas, I just want to sleep."

"Dean this is no time for sleep. The bee population is rapidly decreasing and if we don't do something about it, the world could change in a matter of months." Castiel says with a seriousness. 

Dean just stares at the man, not saying a word. He just picks up a pillow and chucks it at Castiel's face. "Go to bed, babe" He mutters, turning back over to sleep.

Cas pouts and moves up behind the man, leaning up to his ear. "There's this website I found and it sells really cute bee products and some of the money they earn will go towards research for bees. There's this backpack I saw and I love it so much, will you buy it for me?"

"Will you go to bed?" Dean asks.

"Can I have the socks too?" 

Dean rolls over throw an arm around Cas and pull him to his naked chest, "Sure, babe."

Castiel gives him a gummy smile and leans up to give him a kiss, "Goodnight, Dean."

All that Cas gets in response is snores.
