spring break

today is the last day until spring break. mayrin did move, we made up. we still talk everyday, but its not the same. ever since ive talked to madison, we became close. Jack finally asked her to be his girlfriend, of course she said yes.

im in my 3rd block class about to go to lunch. once the bell rings, i get up and started walking. i walk in the cafeteria, i sit at our table and wait for the boys and madison. when madison comes, jack comes with her. "hey guys! weres cameron?" I asked. "hes with the guys getting food" jack said. "oh okay" i said. "so how are you" Madison asked. "im okay, you know same old same old. how are you?"  i laughed. "thats good, im good!" she chuckled.

the boys came, cameron sat with matthew. since madison and jack are dating they're always together. matthew is still sad that mayrin left, when we talk he says I remind him of the good times they had. i had no one to talk at lunch, i left the table. everyone kept asking where are you going, but i just walked away.

i have 20 minutes left till lunch ends. i go outside, i sat down. I grabbed my phone, i open my pictures. i look through all of the pictures me and mayrin took, the videos we took. a little tear fell down my cheek. i texted mayrin tuesday night, since then no text back. its Thursday, i look through our text messages, we talk about the most dumbest things. then i see a picture, it was mayrin, matthew and me. I remember this picture, matt told us to make a weird face, then we took the picture we couldn't stop laughing afterwards. "i miss her too lilly" someone said next to me. i look up to see matthew, "matt its not the same without her" i said. "its okay lilly we can always FaceTime her! we can even go visit her during srping break!" he said. "i know, what if we can go all together?" i said. "yes! we can plan once we leave school" he said. "yeah, do you know why cameron didn't talk to me today during lunch?" I asked. "no clue, whatever it is he'll get over it." he hugged me. "thanks matt for being my best friend for the longest, and mostly for dealing with my drama for 8 years" i laughed. "no problem sistaa! hey remember when we made a friendship necklace with a piece or yarn and we asked your mom to buy letters to spell "best friends" you had best and i had friends" he said. "oh yeah! i remember that! i have that in our box we made!" i smiled. "me too! safe and sound!" he laughed. "lets go before the bell rings" I said.

we walk in and everyone is looking at us, especially cameron. but he looks at me and rolls his eyes, and gets up.

i walk towards him, i grab his arm and he stops walking. "why are you mad at me!" I asked. "im not mad" he said sternly. "yes you are, if you arent mad you wouldny have looked at me and rolled your eyes and got up." I said. "what were you and matthew doing?" he said getting a little loud. "what do you mean?" i said. "you know what i mean, why were you out there alone together?" he said. "i was talking to him! nothing else! hes my bestfriend cameron! i lost of my best friends! who else ami supposed to talk to?? you didnt even talk to me when you sat down. is there a problem?" i said. "why was his arms around you?" he asked. "cameron are you serious right now? he was hugging me because we were talking about mayrin! i started crying because i miss her! he came and hugged me, bestfriends do that!" i said getting a little loud. "lilly im sorry i just felt like you and matthew had something. " he scratched his neck. "cameron theres doing between me and matt, hes my bestfriend, dating my best friend" i said. "i know im sorry" he said. "its fine but never assume something. im all yours cameron, okay?" i said. he nodded. we were late for class, but since both me and cameron have early release we decided to leave early. i got in my car, cameron got in his. we decided on going out to get Starbucks.

i drive to starbucks, but i beat cameron. when i get there i sit down, i take my phone out texting back everyone. cameron walks in and walks over to the table. "how did you beat me we were right beside each other" he chuckled. "i have my ways, remember i drive fast" i winked. "well slow down babe you might get a ticket! have you ordered?" he asked. "nope" i said. "good!" he stood up, i went with him. since cameron already knows what i get, hes going to end up paying for me, which i mean is sweet and all but I want to invite him for once. "cam please ill pay this time" i begged. "okay fine" he poked my nose, i looked at my nose. he laughed, "awh your cute" he said, i just looked at him.

I ordered my drink and snack, cameron did too, I paid for once. once our order came we sat down and talked. "hey lilly what are we doing for spring break?" cam asked. "well thank you for reminding! matthew wanted to know if we can all go visit mayrin in new york, for the week" i said. "thats a good idea, how about we leave friday night, come home and be together? i had stuff planned babe" he pouted. "fine why not, only because if i dont you will start ticking me." i said laughing.

we finished, and left. i drove to my house, cameron has to go home and shower because he says he "smells" which is a total lie. all the boys, including madison are coming over to talk about spring break plans.

once i got home, i changed into my nike sweats and my nike sports bra, and knowing cameron wont like that i put a black sweater on.

Jack came first with madison, then cameron, then Johnson, then everyone else. "okay guys so me and matthew talked about going to visit mayrin, but i also thought about surprising her like i can text her mom for the address." i said. "sure thats a great idea!" everyone said, but Jack stayed quiet, so did madison. "uh are you guys in?" i asked them. "uh madison and i already made plans.." jack said. "oh." i said dryly. I ignored them, wnd continued talking about it to the guys.

i love madison and all but i can barely hang out with my brother anymore. I don't want to say anything because jack loves her. even if im dating cameron, i still hang out with jack.

we decided on leaving tomorrow morning, very early in the morning. after they left, i ran to my room and packed. i hear jack calling me but i ignore it. I continue packing.

"lilly why are you ignoring me" he asked. "im not." i said not looking at him. "you clearly are" he said. "jack im busy, i need to pack." i said. "ok" he left the room.

i finished packing, i packed a lot of clothes, make up, my curling wand, my iron. its only 10:30, i need to sleep because i hate waking up early. before i fall asleep, i text everyone asking if they paid for their ticket. i havent yet.

cameron: i got you your ticket!! love you!! goodnight!!
lilly: cameron!! why!!! fine but ill pay you back! i love you too goodnight!!.
