graduation day

today is the day, the day we graduate. its 8, and it starts at 11. me and jack woke up early because mom wanted to take us out with Austin.

we've met him a couple times, he seems like an ok guy. after i showered and brushed my teeth, i got ready, well i just changed into a pair of black jeans and a t shirt. i put my shoes on and walked out.

jack was already downstairs on his phone. i sat down across from him, "well good morning to you" i laugh.

"good morning lilly" he looked up and smiled.

i go on snapchat and took a picture of him on his phone. i caption it "always on his phone 🤔" i post it.

i walk upstairs to tell cameron im leaving with jack now. he says okay and kisses my cheek.

jack wanted to drive, he wanted to drive the new car. i get in and jack starts up the car. we exit out of our gate, and drove off to Showmars.

jack drove pretty fast, once we got there we asked for a table. we sit down and wait for my mom and austin.

its been like 6 months i think since my parents got divorced. i see my mom and Austin walk in together. he recently moved in, into our old house.

I remember telling my dad that he moved in, he wasnt happy about that.

"hey mom, hi austin." i said. jack said hi also, we ordered we had to wait about 30 minutes.

while we waited i texted the boys, but until my mom cleared her throat. "we have something to tell you guys."

i looked up from my phone to look at her so did jack. "Austin proposed!" she said showing her ring. I just looked at her, she hardly knows the guy. we don't even know him that much. i look at jack, he doesnt look happy.

"you barely know this guy! lilly told me you met dad at age 19 and married at age 23. you met this guy six months ago! you know what get married i dont care, just know i don't support this at all. because im pretty sure austin is marrying you for your money! so think about that mom. come on lilly." he said.

"wait. mom jack is right, your marrying someone you barley know. what did dad say about this? did you even ask if its okay to invite your boyfriend to live in the house hes paying? but thats all on you, sorry that were acting like assholes but you need to know the truth and the truth hurts. just like you hiding the fact that you were seeing someone. and if you love me and jack you wouldnt do this." i say grabbing my phone and walking away with jack.

I decided on calling my dad. "dad we need to talk." i said.

"whats up honey? you ready for today!" he said.

"of course i am! but theres something mom just told us, Austin proposed." i said.

there was few minutes of silence.

"what? shes getting married already? its been, what six months? how did you and jack take it?" he asked.

"well jack is pissed, so am I because she hardly knows him! and i supported her, we both did. but the fact that she tells us the day we graduate, which is a very special day for us." i said.

"lilly, if your mom loves and cares for you then she wont." he said.

"i said the same thing to her. hopefully she understands that it hurt us, not just us but you too. yeah i know what you did was terrible but still, at least you told us." i said.

"honey just forget about this, calm down. get ready for today, ill see you later. i love you and jack okay?" he said.

"i love you too dad" i said. "ME TOO!" jack yelled.

"jack why are you yelling i can hear you perfectly fine." he chuckled.

"i dont know but see you later im about to enter the house!!" jack said.

after hanging up, it was 9:45. i ran up the stairs to see cameron making a snapchat.

he posted it, "did you just run up those stairs?" he asked. "maybe" i looked around. "lilly you cant be running" he laughed. "I promise i wont!" i laugh.

since i already took a shower, i just need to do my make up and change. thank goodness i got my nails done a couple days ago.

after doing my makeup, i start doing my hair. i decided to just do curls, once I finish i spray a little of hair spray. cameron walked in and smiled at me.

"you look beautiful" he said. "im not even done" I chuckle looking for my pink-ish red-ish lipstick. as i was looking for it, cameron pulled out his phone.

i couldnt find it so i checked in my other make up bag, then all of a sudden i see a flash on me. "oooh you look beautiful" he said. i chuckled and smiled. (i tried not to copy the video of jack and Madison bc thats my favorite but i tried)

I find it and put it on, "cameron what time is it?" i asked. "10:15" he said. what!!? "go get ready!!" i left the bathroom and picked out my dress.

the girls were going to wear a maroon color and the guys are wearing black or white. (i dont know what school has these colors so sorry)

i change into my dress, and put my black heels on. i grab my cap and gown, which is in a protective cover up so no wrinkles. so is camerons and jacks, its currently 10:47.

we finally finished and got in the car, jack drove off to madisons house so me and cameron left to the venue.

im finally graduating highschool.

AN: hey guys! so i didnt know i was going have some drama in this chapter but hey why not?

but im going to make a part two. i feel like no one is reading my book.

I'll continue writing but, please tell your friends come and read it!

also i feel like this story is rushed, but once I make a new book which probably not now, ill make it with full details.
