"Morning boys." Burt said as he walked into the kitchen for breakfast. It was the first day of summer break after his sons' high school graduation. He had a long day at the shop ahead of him and he wanted to get there bright and early to get started.
"Morning dad." Carson said in between bites of toast. He sat at the kitchen table across from Chris and Finn. Everyone looked tired. Burt silently laughed as he remembered how they all had partied well into the night with their friends. Him and Carole had left the party extremely early, allowing their sons to have fun without parental super vision. It was then that he noticed someone was missing.
"Where's Kurt?" He asked as he poured himself a cup of coffee. Burt saw it. Carson and Chris froze momentarily before exchanging looks. It was Carson who spoke.
"He left with Mercedes last night."
Burt stared at him for a moment, confused as to why the boys were all acting weird. "Is there something you want to say?" His question brought about another staring contest between the two brothers. Finn sat quietly, completely out of the conversation due to all of the thoughts that ran through his mind. He had decisions about Rachel to make.
When no one answered his question, Burt felt a momentary desire to know what was being kept a secret. "Kurt's not in any trouble is he?"
Instantly Chris and Carson shook their heads frantically. "No. He's not in trouble." Chris said with a small smile that didn't quite reach his eyes.
Burt thought he heard Carson mumble a quite "Not yet anyways" as he raised a cup of water to his lips. Burt sighed. He was not going to get answers from the three in front of him. Irritated, Burt left the kitchen and headed off to work.

"I love you." Kurt said to the naked, sleepy eyed boy beside him. He had woken up a few minutes before Blaine and had silently watched the boy's chest rise and fall. He couldn't get over how adorable and peaceful he looked as he slept. When the dark haired boy in bed with him slowly started to wake up, Kurt couldn't help but speak aloud his thoughts.
Beside him, his lover chuckled softly. "I love you too Kurt. Now go back to sleep. It's summer vacation." Blaine said as he moved closer to him and cuddled into his side.
Kurt couldn't help but laugh happily as he wrapped his arms around the smaller boy's waist and pulled him even closer, removing all space between them.
Together, the two continued to stay in bed the rest of the day, entwined in each other's arms and sharing the sweetest of kisses.

I know it's a little short but I wanted to do something mushy today. When my own romance falls apart, it helps to know that Kurt and Blaine will still be forever lost in theirs.
