Beep, beep, beep, beep.

I picked up my phone from my bedside table before squinting and swiping off the alarm. 7:00.

As my feet hit the cold floor a new feeling of determination hit me.

My exams were next week and I was determined to ace them all. Not once in my two years of attending university have I failed, and I refuse to start now.

With my head held high I walk out into the kitchen and grab my breakfast, a started to eat not long before I heard loud footsteps echoing through the apartment.

Taylor excitedly ran into the kitchen and resumed her daily routine while running on the spot. I so tisked at her constant energy. She was a fitness freak that was for sure.

Taylor had been my best friend since I was ten years old, eleven years of putting up with her constant need to exorcise. Taylor was pretty cool though, even for someone who didn't get into university.

I moved into her apartment about a year ago, it was closer to the university and work. Even though she always filled it with unearth plants and candles to make it feel more "homie" I love this place.

"Morning." Taylor chimes.

"Good morning Taylor, how was your sleep."

"I didn't, Secrets was on last night so I kinda stayed up until this morning catching up on the new season."  She answered. I rolled my eyes typical Taylor.

"Are you working today?" She asked stoping for a moment to look at me and then began stretching.

"No, my shift for the week doesn't start until tomorow." The pharmacy that I worked at made sure that I had a few days off every now and then. Regain my Bose thinks that I'd overwork myself if I worked all week, which is not true.

"Oh ok, well would you like to go out with me and a couple of my gym friends. We're going to this really nice cafe down in-"

"I'm sorry Taylor I need to study tonight, exam week and all."

"Liz you never go out with me!" She groaned as I shrugged my shoulders and resumed eating. I didn't like going out with Taylor's friends, they are always so loud and boisterous.

"Maybe next time." I sighed, Taylor frowned and walked into the lounge room.

After breakfast I dressed my self and left the apartment. 8:10 exactly on time.

A caught the tram down to the river and then walked the rest of the way to campos.

Classes went bye the same as usual me focussing and writing down as many notes as I could fit into my note book.

Becoming a lawyer is easy for me, but people don't understand how much work I really put in.

Bye the end of the day my wrist ache formed so much writing. Before I knew it was back home and collapsed on the couch to take I quick 20 minute nap before, studying.

I closed my eyes and let the grasp of sleep consume me once again.

I ran through the woods watching the skies above, the sunlight dappled through the leaves of the trees and coated the ground in patterns. The wind rustled through the branches of the mighty trees and blew through the strands of my red hair.

My young body sang with life. The delicious wind teased my skin as I jumped over a log. When I look up I see a silhouette, I stand still an watch the person in front of me. He stood with his back to me and listened to the sounds of the Forrest.

He seemed so familiar yet different, like seeing a house after renovation. I absently stepped forward a twig snapping under my weight. He abruptly turned his head to the side at the sound and-

Beep beep beep beep.

My eyes snapped open.
