Chapter 8

The 8 teenagers that now form the Young Justice team are sitting in the kitchen eating cookies. "Hey these are pretty good!" Kid Flash said.

"Thanks! It uh... took a few tries but Peter helped me understand the recipe better." She told them slightly embarrassed, gesturing to the trays with black lumps on them.

"Yeah as it turns out Martians don't understand the concept of sugar that well." Peter said.

"Dude where did you learn to bake?" Robin asked him.

"My aunt taught me." He said with a sad smile.

"Well you'll have to get her to bake for us sometime." Kid Flash told him.

"She uh... she died. About two weeks ago" Peter said.

"Oh crap. I... I am so sorry." Kid Flash apologized.

"It's cool man. Don't worry about it, you didn't know". Peter tells him making Kid Flash feel a little better. "Now weren't we supposed to have another member in our little club? Quicky I think his name was." Peter asks.

"It is Speedy actually. And he will no longer be joining us. He has decided to go his own way." Aqualad told the four members not in the know.

"Oh well that's cool. I can respect the whole solo hero thing." Peter said, "Well now I think we should get to know each other better. Build some trust you know?"

"How do you propose we do this?" Aqualad asked.

"I think we should all share our identities. It helps build trust on team if you know who is under the mask." Peter told them.

"I believe that is a good idea. I will start, my name is Kaldur'ahm. But my friends call me Kaldur." Kaldur told them with a smile.

"Um... I don't know about this guys" Robin said "Batman forbid me to tell you".

"You listen here bird boy, you are are going to tell them who you are. If you don't I will." Barbara threatens Robin.

"Alright alright, yesh," Robin takes a deep breath before continuing "My name is Richard Grayson, most people call me Dick though." Dick told them.

"Good. Now as for me my name is Barbara Gordon." Barbara told them.

"My name is Peter Parker." Peter said to the group.

"I am M'gann M'orzz" the martian girl said.

"My real name is Kara Zor-El, or Kara Kent." Kara told them.

"And I am Wallace West, but you can call me Wally, every one does." Kid Flash now know as Wally said.

"Sweet another alliteration. Welcome Wally West, to the club." Peter said holding up his hand for a high five, which Wally gladly fived. Only Barbara got Peters word play which made her smile. "How about you Superboy? Got a name yet?" Peter asked.

"No. They only called me Superboy or project Kr." He told them.

"Well that just won't do. Do you mind if we help you come up with name?" asked Peter.

"Not really. Go right ahead." Superboy said.

At that everyone entered a brainstorming session trying to think of a name for the clone of Superman. "I got it!" Wally shouted out "Destructor!" Everyone just stared at the boy.
