I woke up on the ground; the dirty and cold floor sticking to my figure. My body shaking all over as I try to push myself off of the ground. My arms give in under my weight a couple times and I use the nearby bedpost to pull myself into a sitting position holding on for dear life. I take in gulps of air but it feels like tar moving inside my lungs and suddenly I feel nauseous.
My head is spinning and with the little coordination I have I stumbled to the bathroom collapsing by the toilet. Another wave of nausea to me and throw up. It's all watery which means I haven't eaten yet. I throw up until I no longer feel my head and again I pass out on the floor.Hours Later
I wake up to a loud knock on the door. Feeling a lot better than I did before, I get up slowly still feeling a little dizzy. The knocking stops and from a small opening on the large metal door slides in a food trey. I didn't realize how hungry I was until I saw it.
I scrambled to the floor and picked up the piece of bread. Taking a huge bite out of it I realized it was extremely stale. I ate the whole thing and drank the water not caring that some was spilling down my chin.
After I ate all my food I came to the realization that although I had no idea where I was, there was a sense of familiarity. I stood up slowly and walked around my room.It was very plain with only the essentials: a bed, one drawer, and one bathroom with a simple mirror. I looked to see inside the drawer and was pleasantly surprised to see clothes that fit me.
Whoever was keeping me here needed me alive. They wouldn't have fed me food and gave me clothes for no reason. Question was, exactly who was keeping me here?
As if some mystical force heard my question, the door opened and three men came inside my room. My body tensed up but I knew better than to fight. How I had the instinct to fight, no idea. But the two of the men had guns so no fighting for me. The third wore a lab coat.
"You're awake," said the man in the coat. I only stared not knowing what else to do. "Do you remember who you are?" he asked me. I was suddenly feeling very stupid. I had no idea who I was, where I was, or anything! I began to panic but decided against letting it show. "No."
"Come here,"he commanded. I didn't have any reason to trust this man but I felt compelled to do as he said. I couldn't stop myself from keeping away. "You, dear creature," he started, "Your name is Nyx, remember? And do you remember me? I am Zola. " Deep now I searched and found that it was true. It was slowly coming back; the training, the studies, Hydra. All of it came back to me at once. "Yes, sir," I responded. He nodded, "What do you remember about yesterday?"
I thought to myself of the events that happened yesterday. Nothing. I could put remember yesterday at all. It was as if a thick blanket covered up the answer. "Nothing." Again he nodded and turned to the two men with weapons. "She speeds to relearn yesterday's and learn today's training. Take her to the center." The men nodded and grabbed my arms leading me out of the room. As they did so I heard him say, "You're going to save the world."
I let the men lead my down to the training center. As we were approaching the room I turned to hear screams coming from a door on my right. Shivers ran down my spine. That was the testing room. I've been in there so many times already that I'm used to it. The needles and the pain are normal to me. But I pity the poor soul in there now against my better judgement. I hear the man's blood curdling screams until I reach the training room. The sound echoes in my mind.

It stopped. The pain finally stopped and I took in as much air as my lungs would let me. There was sweat all over my body and I was shaking all over.
What is happening to me?! Where am I?!
The door opened and I barely registered a man coming inside. He looked at me then to the other doctors, "Give him morphine I need to talk to him." The staff did as told and in a matter of minutes I felt better. Not great but better.
"Do you know who you are?" He asked me. I tried to find an answer but there wasn't none. "No," I said. "You are the Winter Soldier. Destined to save the world and make it pure for the sacred Hydra organization." I shook my head, "I don't remember that." The man took a step closer to me. "You were in an accident," he said looking at my arm. I noticed it and instantly felt a pang of disgust towards it. "Yes, it also explains your arm. But don't worry, you'll soon know how to use it."
He turned away from me to leave but stopped at the door. Not even looking back he spoke again, "My name is Zola for your information, but you will call me sir. Any disregards to any orders will end you back in the chair your sitting in just now. Is that clear?"
"Yes, sir."
