Beatrice's POV:
I wanted to tie myself up and die.. I want to dig a hole and burry myself for eternity.. I want to just jump off a ledge.
If my life was an equation.. I'm sure there would be no answer! If I were an experiment, I'm sure no scientist would ever try to make me.
Dad, this is all my fault.. Josh probably blames me too
I can't live like this.. I just wish.. I wasn't me. I've caused problems and trouble.
I just wanted a simple and ordinary life! But what did I get? A complicated and disastrous one..
I always had to hide my true self.. My real identity.. The real Beatrice Summers..
I lost everyone I love. Except Josh that is.. And if you count my friends.. They're the only people I have left..
Why did I have to go to New York? If I didn't.. would dad be still here? Would I be living my life like.. who I was before.. Megan Block?
The thing is.. I have a million questions. Although.. I have no answer to not even one!
I don't wanna go to school.. I can't face my friends.. knowing I've kept mpre than enough secrets from them.
I still remember the day we met.. each one of them.. were special memories, locked away in my treasure chest. Never to be forgotten.
<<Flashback>>
School.. so not excited.. I thought to myself.
"Thats as good as its gonna get." I said to myself, looking at a mirror.
I put on my wig and contacts and went to school.
I was and always will be the girl who will be remembered by her smile. No matter how hard things get.. I will always smile.
People were so.. giddy today. You can see the geeks, together in a circle talking about their 'geek stuff'.
The cheerleaders, wearing their uniform.. and flirting with the jocks.
Where is my place? I don't know yet. But I really wouldn't care anyway.
I was so lost in thought I accidentally bumped into someone.
"Oh my! I'm so sorry, I-I didn't mean to.. Um.. let me help you" She said.
She looked beautiful, like those cheerleaders. Except she didn't seem like the kind of person who would take interest in cheerleading.
She helped my pick up my books and kept asking over and over if I was ok.
"I'm sure I'm alright" I said smiling.
She chuckled..
"I'm Kristen Winters." She said holding out a hand to shake.
I gladly took it and replied.
"Beatrice Summers, nice to meet you"
She smiled.
"No need to be formal. Anyways whats your first class?"
"Um... Biology" I said.
"Bummer.. Well lets just meet up at Starbucks after class. I have Math." Kristen said.
"Sure. Catch you later" I said as the bell rang.
Class went through like flowing water.. and before I knew it. I was already walking out the door.
