Chapter 19 - Start of Chunin Exam

MIYUKI'S POV

The Chunin exam's finally here. When we were given, or should I say the others were given the application form for the Chunin exam, the boys were definitely excited since they met Gaara and his team. While I was given a special form... a Jounin application form. I have to go through all that's happen in the Chunin exam, while disguised as part of Team 7. The proctors will be watching me very carefully...

I can't believe Hokage-sama did this... I didn't even ask to become a Jounin...

Not to mention, I have to protect the team in the second stage...

Right, I never did tell Hokage-sama about the invasion...

I stood beside Kakashi-sensei, waiting for the team.

"Miyuki, you okay?" sensei ask.

I look at him and nod.

"Miyuki, are you perhaps... nervous?" he asks.

"kind of... sensei... why do Hokage-sama had to recommend me to be a Jounin? I didn't ask for it...I don't think I can---"

"Miyuki, calm down. You're just nervous. And if anything were to happen, just handle it like how you would do. Don't think of anything else, okay?" sensei place his palm on my head.

I nod.

I saw the team, they finally came.

"you're late" I said.

"Miyuki-chan! I thought we agreed to wait in front of the academy!" Naruto said.

"you guys did, I didn't agree to anything" I said.

"well, anyhow, I'm glad that everyone's here. Especially you, Sakura" Kakashi-sensei said.

I nod.

"eh? Why me?" Sakura ask.

"because Sakura, the Chunin exam must be participate in team" I said.

"eh? Then what if I didn't come? What will happen?" Sakura ask.

"then Sasuke and Naruto won't be able to participate" I answered.

"then what's the point of saying we can participate individually?" Sasuke ask.

"if I were to say that you must participate in a team, you would have force Sakura to join you. or Sakura would have felt that she'll drag the team down if she didn't join..." Sensei said.

"Naruto and Sasuke, you're both excited for this, I'm very sure, but what about Sakura? I know what you were feeling... but well, I'm glad you're fine now" I said.

Sakura look at me, determined.

"well, I'm glad you're all here. Remember I'm proud of all of you. now, get in there" Sensei said.

"yeah!! We'll definitely become Chunins!" Naruto said.

We all went in and immediately, all eyes on us. I was behind the three of them, so I glared at everyone I made eye contact with. Some flinch and some advert their eyes somewhere else.

"oh, you guys are here too?"

I look beside me to see Kiba and his team. I saw Hinata behind them, looking at Naruto, blushing.

I smile at her slightly.

Then Shikamaru's team came. Sakura and Ino begin fighting for Sasuke... again.

"oh? Who's this? You guys are mean; you didn't introduce us to this chick" Kiba said as he swings his arm around me.

My eye twitch, annoyed.
