the week fortunately went by quick for michael, not that he was complaining. it was currently friday and michael can't wait for the weekdays doing absolutely nothing.
michael looked into the large mirror downstairs and straightened his black grid top and fixed his denim shorts. calum had offered to pick michael up for school earlier, which he reluctantly agreed on and waited until calum arrived.
"you look great, honey." karen complimented, kissing her only child's forehead.
"thanks mum." michael smiled, hugging his mum tightly and jumped a bit when hearing a honk outside.
"alright michael, have a good day. i love you, take care." karen said lovingly and michael nodded.
"i love you too, mummy." michael pecked her cheek before slipping on his black converse and made his way to calum's car settling on the passenger seat then waved goodbye to his mum one last time.
"good morning cally." michael grinned, reaching towards calum's hand and pressing a kiss to the back of his hand.
"aw, morning to you too, princess." calum responded, intertwining their hands.
they both stopped at a red light and calum cooed when looking at michael. he wouldn't admit it, but he was just really whipped for michael.
"you look so beautiful, kitten." calum leaned towards michael and kissed his blushing cheeks.
both of them shared a comfortable silence until they reached the school. calum parked in his usual spot and got out of the car hurriedly to open the door for michael.
michael pecked his cheek as a thank you and they both walked hand-in-hand as they entered the school, receiving many grumbles from some girls and some 'aw's.
"move." calum said bitterly to the girl that was blocking his way and the girl quickly apologized before moving out of the way.
michael was led to a group of calum's football teammates and he smiled shyly at the jocks, shuffling his feet.
"guys, this is michael," calum announced, his hand still intertwined with michael's.
"hi." michael said shyly, earning a reassuring squeeze from calum.
"so this is the guy that you've been talking about for so long, huh?" bryce -one of calum's teammate- teased which caused calum to punch him roughly in the arm with a glare.
"yeah, he never stops talking about your eyes." damian -his other teammate- joined in, with a slight smirk on his face.
"i've been told." michael said quietly, making the group burst out laughing for some reason. he wasn't lying though, ashton did tell him before.
"yo dudes, what's up?" ashton asked, joining the group and an arm around luke.
luke flashed a smile at michael which michael returned.
"these assholes keep bullying me." calum pouted to ashton.
"more like telling the truth." one of them replied sassily, causing calum to roll his eyes.
"oh and once at gym class, we caught calum staring at-"
"me and michael are going to go somewhere else now, bye!" calum interrupted quickly, lifting michael up and carrying him bridal style some place else, making michael giggle and look at calum dreamily.
;
"please, please, please, michael. just this once." luke begged, pouting when michael stubbornly refused.
