Chapter 31: Easter

Kennedy's POV

I woke up this morning next to my handsome boyfriend. It's Easter Sunday!

I always get so excited for Easter. Not only because Jesus arose on this day which is the most important part of it but it's also a time of family.

I was also home but he way, at my mine and Kasey's house. In Mooresville, North Carolina.

I unwrap Chase's strong arms from around me and get up to get ready. I hear him groan at me not being there and I giggle quietly.

It was around 10:00am so I thought I'd better get ready quickly because my family and friends are coming over for lunch and dinner.

I start doing my makeup in my bathroom and then I start curling my hair. As I was doing that I see Chase come into the bathroom and wrap his arms around my waist.

"Couldn't stand it anymore?" I giggle.

"Nope! You know, I hate when you leave me"

I put my curling wand down and wrap my arms around his neck.

"You look beautiful" he whispers.

"Thank you" I smile and I press my lips to his.

"You need to get ready Mr!" I say patting his bare chest.

"Can't we just cuddle for awhile?" He whines.

"Nope!"

"Fine" he says walking out of the bathroom "Wait, I forgot" he says popping his head back into the bathroom "Happy Easter Kennedy"

"Happy Easter Chase" I smile and I peck his lips really quick before he gets stuff for a shower.

"I won't look" I say shielding my eyes as he takes his pants off to get in the shower.

"You can look if you want" he says as I feel him smirk at me.

"Nope! Not yet at least!" I say.

"Suit yourself" he says "I'm in the shower now"

"You're not joking with me are you?"

"Nope"

I take my hand off of my eyes and he was, in fact, now in the shower.

"You know, I have the most beautiful girlfriend ever?"

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah! She's an a** most of the time but I love her"

"Wow, I see how it is"

"I love you Babe"

"I love you too, Idiot"

"Wow, I see how it is" he says repeating me.

"Shut up, I'm leaving"

"No, come back"

"I gotta get dressed!"

"Fine"

I smile and walk out of the bathroom. I change into my white dress with blue and purple floral designs on it and see through lace under the bust. It also had spaghetti straps.

I slip on a pair of white wedges and walk downstairs. I walk in the kitchen to start working on food and Sammy walks in setting her stuff down.

"Sam!" I say hugging her.

"Hey! Happy Easter!"
