Chapter 50: We got a house?!

Kennedy's POV

We were on our way to Mooresville from Pocono when my phone started ringing.

It was mine and Chase's real estate agent, Amanda. She is actually a family friend of mine, and she also lives in North Carolina.

We found a house we really liked in Charleston, South Carolina and we went and walked around in it and we fell in love with it. So we put an offer on it a few weeks ago. It was away from the city though which is what we really wanted.

I know I said I wanted to live in Georgia but Chase kept saying things about living in South Carolina, saying we'd be in the middle of our families and saying how beautiful South Carolina was so he got me to want to live in SC. It was a beautiful farm looking house.

"Hey Mandy! How are you?"

"I'm great how are you guys doing?" She asks.

"Well Chase and I are engaged now!"

"Oh my gosh! Congratulations!"

"Thank you!"

"You'll have to tell me how everything happened soon!"

"Oh I will!"

"I have some great news for you guys too!" She says.

"Yeah?" I ask.

"You guys got the house!"

"What?!" I say and Chase gives me a confused look.

"You guys own a house! Once you get back to NC, I'll give you guys the key! The house is yours! And you can move in whenever you want to, the furniture in the house is also yours, so not much to buy!"

"Holy crap! Seriously?!"

"Yes ma'am! Congratulations!"

"Wow, thank you so much! We'll see you in North Carolina!"

"Okay! See ya later!"

"See ya!" I say and end it.

"What was that about?"

"Chase?" I say turning towards him.

"Yes Kennedy?"

"We got the house!"

"What?"

"We got the house! We are house owners!" I smile.

"Really?"

"Yes!"

"Wow, holy crap" he says and his smile was so big.

"Our first house together" I smile as tears well up in my eyes.

"Man, that is awesome" he says and I lean over and kiss his cheek.

"Give me a kiss" Chase says leaning over and puckering his lips.

"But you're flying a plane"

"I know, but I want to kiss you"

"Fine" I giggle and I peck his lips.

"Thank you" he smiles.

"You're welcome"

We get to North Carolina and Kasey was there at the airport to pick us up.

"Hey kiddos!" Kasey says hugging me.

"Hey Kasey, guess what?"

"What?"

"We got the house in SC!"

"You did?!"

"Yeah! Mandy called us!"

"Wow guys! Congratulations!"

"Thanks Man" Chase smiles and gives him a 'bro hug'.

"Well let's head back to the house shall we? We've got Sam and Tanner there!"

"Yay!" I say hopping into Kasey's truck. We got back to the house and we walk in.

"Look who it is!" Sam says trying to help Tanner walk over to me.

"Hey TanMan!" I say squatting down.

"I'm gonna take the bags up to your room" Chase says kissing my head.

"Okay" I smile up at him.

Tanner makes his way over to me and I pick him.

"Hey little man!" I giggle at him smiling at me.

"Hey, we were thinking about ordering pizza and having a Disney movie marathon. You guys in?" Sam asks.

"I'm down! And I think he would be down too" I laugh.

Chase lays on the couch so I lay inbetween his leg and Tanner lays on my chest as he starts to fall asleep. After eating pizza I start to fall asleep. So before I fall asleep I look back and kiss Chase.

"Go to sleep Darlin, I'm about to pass out too" Chase whispers.

"Okay" I smile and fall asleep on my fiancé' chest with my handsome nephew asleep on my chest. What can get better than this?
