Dover International Speedway

Kennedy's POV

We are at Dover this weekend aka the Monster Mile.

It was a little cool this morning so I put on a long sleeved NAPA Racing shirt, a pair of regular blue bootcut jeans and my blue and white Nikes. I straighten my hair and put a little makeup on.

"William Clyde Elliott II, get up please!" I yell somewhat loudly but not too loud since we were in a hotel. Nothing happened so I sighed and walked into the bedroom and he was still asleep.

"Babe" I groan as I lay on him and he groans.

"Darlin, what're you doin?"

"I want you to get up, pleaseeeeeee"

"Do I have to?"

"Yes" I smile as I rest my head on his chest.

"Fine" he groans. I sit on his lap and he sits up.

"Now go brush your teeth so I can kiss you" I say patting his scruffy cheeks.

"Or you can just brush your teeth again" he smiles.

"That's wasting water"

"You're being too smart for me today" he says pushing me off gently and getting up and walking to the bathroom.

"I'm sorry Hun, I'll be a little more dumb for you" I say sarcastically as I lay on the bed.

"Thanks!" He yells.

A few minutes later I hear footsteps running across the floor and next thing I know, Chase was hovering over top of me.

"Can I kiss you now?" He asks.

"Yes you may" I smile and he smiles back. He leans down a little and presses his lips to mine as I wrap my arms around his neck.

"I love you" he says pecking my lips again.

"I love you too" I smile.

"I think I found a house you'd like" he says plopping down next to me.

"Show me"

He pulled up the house on his phone and it looked like a big house.

"It's got 5 bedrooms and 4 baths. It's got very nice and big rooms, it looks very clean because they just got done building it a few months ago"

"That is a nice house"

"So, do we wanna think about this one?"

"Yeah we can, what's the- Holy crap Chase!"

"What?"

"The price!"

"We're not the only ones paying it Darlin. I was planning on just us buying it but Mom and Dad said they'd help us"

"They don't have to do that"

"And that's what I told them but they wouldn't budge"
